JAIPUR: North Western Railway (NWR) made changes in the timings of a few trains falling in its zone while initiating 19 new trains that were announced in the railway budget 2012 and extended services of 9 trains. This change in timings will be effective from July 1, 2012. However, the dates for new trains and extended routes will be announced later.As per the new schedule 19707 Aravalli Express which runs from Bandra Terminus to Jaipur will now arrive at 6:55 pm instead of 6:45 pm. The arrival time of Jaipur Duronto from Mumbai Central will now be at 2:05 pm instead of 1:55 pm. Arrival of 12181 Dayodaya Express from Jabalpur to Jaipur has been rescheduled at 11:50 am from 11:40 am. Similarly, arrival of 12973 Indore-Jaipur has also been extended by 10 minutes and scheduled at 8:10 am. Arrival timings of another train - 12967 Chennai Central to Jaipur is scheduled at 6:15 am from its earlier arrival of 5:55 am.Timings of some of the trains passing from Jaipur have also been rescheduled. Jaipur Express from Ajmer to Rajendra Nagar (Bihar) 12396 will now arrive at 2:25 am instead of 2:15 am and depart at 2:40 am. The arrival of Marudhar Express 14854, from Jodhpur to Varanasi, has been extended by 5 minutes and is scheduled at 3:30 pm. Garib Nawaz 54807 that runs on Saturday from Ajmer to Ranchi will now arrive at 9:40 pm instead of 9:35 pm. Halt time of 12216 Garib Rath from Bandra Terminus to Delhi Sarai Rohilla has been extended by 5 minutes. It will arrive at 7:05 am in place of 7:10 am and depart at its earlier time of 7:20 am.

"With the laying of double track between many stations falling under NWR, the travel time of three major trains of the zones has been reduced. The Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Porbandar Express 19264 now will take 33 minutes less than its usual time of 16 hours and 35 minutes. Similarly, travelling in 12458 Bikaner-Delhi Sarai Rohilla has been reduced by 20 minutes and 19404 Sultanpur- Ahmedabad's time has been cut short by 10 minutes," said Lalit Bohra, chief PRO of North Western Railway .

Other changes that were made by the NWR are 15013-15014 Ranikhet Express that runs between Delhi to Kathgodam and vice-versa will now halt at Jaipur too. It has also been extended up to Bhagat Ki Kothi. With Kathgodam as the source station the train will depart at 8:40 pm and arrive in Jaipur at 11 am. Udaipur-Ajmer Express 12991/12992 has been extended up to Jaipur. It will arrive at 1:50 pm and will leave Jaipur at 2 pm daily. Jaipur-Durg 18208, which runs between Jaipur and Durg on every Tuesday has been extended till Ajmer. According to the new schedule it will depart from Ajmer at 7:30 pm every Tuesday and arrive in Jaipur at 9:30 pm and depart at 9:40 pm. While coming from Durg it will halt at Jaipur at 3:45 pm and departs at 4 pm.
