ALLAHABAD: The annual prize distribution ceremony of engineering department of the North Central Railways was organised recently at NCR headquarters in Subedarganj. The programme was organised under the chairmanship of principal chief engineer Satish Kumar.

The principal chief engineer gave awards to around 96 railway officers and employees for performing exceptionally well in the past year. Among them, 5 were officers while 91 belonged to 'Group C' and 'Group D' category of employees.

Speaking on the occasion, Satish Kumar said, "Railway employees should give examples of faithfulness and dedication in their work so that others can also be inspired and bring a qualitative change in their work. He congratulated all the awarded employees and hoped that they would continue to perform well even in the future.

During the programme, all the top officers of the engineering department, heads of various departments and employees were present. The programme was conducted by secretary/principal chief engineer SK Bhagat and private secretary/ principal chief engineer Vijay Kumar.
