Palakkad Divisional Railway Manager Piyus Agarwal has said that more passenger amenities will be provided at the Palakkad Junction railway station. Talking to presspersons after flagging off of the Palakkad-Ernakulam MEMU service here on Friday, he said an escalator and two lifts would be installed at the station. Platforms 3 and 4 would be extended towards the Kanjikode side. Four touch-screen computers providing information would be installed at the station. | ||
