V. Kumar (26), an auto driver of Panthapuli near Sankarankoil, was killed in an accident after he collided with an express train while passing through an unmanned level crossing at Ilavankulam near Sankarankoil on Saturday. According to Railway police, the Shencottah bound Podhigai Express from Chennai, which passed around 7.30 a.m. hit the share auto. Based on a complaint lodged by Padmavathi (25) wife of the deceased, Srivilliputhur railway police filed a case. Investigation is underway. | ||
