Accepting demand of passengers; Railway board has accepted proposal of change in timings of express train between Indore and Udaipur. As per new timing Indore - Udaipur - Indore Veer Bhumi Chittaurgarh Express will depart from Indore in evening. The notification specifying exact time and schedule will be released shortly.

This has come as big relief for passengers as large number of devotees pay visit to shrine Lord Shrinath in Nathdwara and this train is the most suitable transport option for them. 

Tentative timings of Indore - Udaipur - Indore Express

  • Indore departure time - 06:00 PM in the evening
  • Udaipur arrival time - 05:00 AM next day morning
However it is still unclear that after change in time, Railway will use a different rake for this train or not as currently rake of Shanti Express that arrives Indore at 06:30 AM in the morning from Gandhi Nagar were used as rake of Indore - Udaipur express that departs from Indore at 07:30 AM in the morning and arriving Udaipur at 07:15 PM in the evening.
