हबीबगंज-इंदौर डबल डेकर ट्रेन का संचालन 27 सितंबर से शुरू हो सकता है। रेल सूत्रों का कहना है कि रेल राज्यमंत्री अधीर रंजन चौधरी शुक्रवार को डबल डेकर को हरी झंडी दिखा सकते हैं। इधर, मंगलवार को भोपाल रेल मंडल के अधिकारी दिनभर उनसे समय लेने का प्रयास करते रहे। उनका कहना है कि बुधवार को भाजपा के कार्यकर्ता महाकुंभ के बाद रेल राज्यमंत्री से समय व तारीख फाइनल कर ली जाएगी।गौरतलब है कि डबल डेकर ट्रेन के संचालन के लिए रेल मंत्री की स्वीकृति के बाद रेलवे बोर्ड ने मंगलवार से इसका संचालन करने के लिए भोपाल रेल मंडल से कहा था, लेकिन यहां व्यवस्थाएं दुरुस्त नहीं होने से संचालन शुरू नहीं हो सका। हालांकि डीआरएम राजीव चौधरी ने इस बारे में कोई स्पष्ट जवाब नहीं दिया। जबकि रेलवे के अन्य अधिकारियों ने इतना जरूर कहा कि डबल डेकर का संचालन कम से कम दो दिन तो नहीं होगा। वहीं, ट्रेन का किराया निर्धारित करने का काम मंगलवार देर शाम तक पूरा नहीं हो सका।

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

The following trains will be temporarily augmented with effect from the dates given against them :

1.Train No. 17230 Hyderabad – Thiruvananthapuram Sabari Express will be temporarily augmented by one First AC coach from 21.09.2013 to 20.10.2013 & Train No 17229 Thiruvananthapuram – Hyderabad Sabari Express from 23.09.2013 to 22.10.2013.

2.Train No. 17652 Kacheguda – Chennai Egmore Express will be temporarily augmented by 2 Sleeper Class coaches from 21.09.2013 to 20.10.2013 & Train No. 17651 Chennai Egmore – Kacheguda Express from 24.09.2013 to 23.10.2013.

3.Train No. 17643 Chennai Egmore – Kakinada Port Circar Express will be temporarily augmented by 2 Sleeper Class coaches from 22.09.2013 to 21.10.2013 & Train No. 17644 Kakinada Port – Chennai Egmore Circar Express from 23.09.2013 to 21.10.2013.

20 WEEKLY SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN LTT & DARBHANGA

Railways have decided to run 20 special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Darbhanga to clear the extra rush of passengers during Puja / Winter season.
The details are as under – 05514      Lokmanya Tilak Terminus  – Darbhanga weekly special train will leave LTT o­n every Sunday at 14.30 hrs from 29.9.2013 to 1.12.2013 (10 trips) and arrive Darbhanga at 00.45 hrs o­n third day i.e. Tuesday (midnight of Mon/Tue). 05513      Darbhanga - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus  weekly special train will leave Darbhanga o­n every Friday at 20.20 hrs from 27.9.2013 to 29.11.2013 (10 trips) and arrive LTT at 06.05 hrs o­n third day i.e. Sunday. Halts:      Kalyan, Nasik Road, Manmad, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Chheoki, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara, Patna, Barauni and Samastipur.      Composition:      Two AC-3 tier, 6 Sleeper class, 10 General second class and 2 General second class cum guard’s brake vans. Reservation:      Booking for train No. 05514 will open from 26.9.2013.

Railway Minister M. Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday flagged off the daily train between Solapur and Yeshwantpur here.The train will leave Gulbarga at 9.05 p.m. and reach Bangalore at 7.10 a.m. (train number 22133), the next day. On its return journey, the train will leaves Yeshwantpur at 8.50 p.m. and reach Gulbarga at 7.10 a.m. (train number 22134), the next day, he said.“The officers concerned are working overtime to ensure that deadlines are met. Two new trains to Bangalore from Gulbarga and Bidar have been introduced within 100 days of my taking charge as the Railway Minister,” Mr. Kharge said.He announced three new long-distance trains that would pass through Gulbarga. Trains from Bangalore to Vaishno Devi and Bangalore to Ajmer would stop at Gulbarga, besides the newly introduced Hubli to Secunderabad train. A pit line or maintenance centre would be set up in Gulbarga at a cost of Rs. 6 crore, which had already been released. Work on the project would start shortly and completed within six months. Once the pit line became functional, more trains could be introduced from Gulbarga to Bangalore and other centres, he said.

Work on the Bidar-Gulbarga railway line would be speeded up as tenders had been invited for the construction of a tunnel at Maragutti, located between Humnabad and Gulbarga. It would take some time to fulfil the demand for a new train from Gulbarga to Bangalore.

Any new train would require a total of Rs. 30 crore, including Rs. 10 crore for the engine and Rs. 80 lakh to Rs. 1.5 crore for each coach, Mr. Kharge said. N. Dharam Singh, MP; Iqbal Ahmed Saradgi, former MP, Qamar-ul Islam, Minister in charge of the district; G. Ramakrishna, Umesh Jadhav, Dattatraya Patil, Priyank Kharge and B.R. Patil, MLAs; B.P. Khare, GM of Central Railway; and S. Jain of Railway Vikas Nigam Ltd., were present.

For the convenience of rail passengers and to increase the passenger carrying capacity during festival rush 2013, Northern Railway has decided to augment the following Rajdhani trains as per under mentioned programme:

    * The 12424/12423 New Delhi- Dibrugarh Town- New Delhi Rajdhani Express train will be augmented by o­ne additional A.C. 2 Tier & two additional A.C. 3 Tier coaches from 01.10.2013 to 30.11.2013 when departing from New Delhi and from 03.10.2013 to 02.12.2013 when departing from Dibrugarh Town.
    * The 12236/12235 New Delhi- Dibrugarh Jn.- New Delhi Guwahati Rajdhani Express train will be augmented by two additional A.C. 2 Tier & o­ne additional A.C. 3 Tier coaches from 01.10.2013 to 26.11.2013 when departing from New Delhi and from 10.10.2013 to 28.11.2013 when departing from Dibrugarh Jn.
    * The 12436/12435 New Delhi- Dibrugarh Town- New Delhi Rajdhani Express train will be augmented by two additional A.C. 2 Tier & o­ne additional A.C. 3 Tier coaches from 03.10.2013 to 28.11.2013 when departing from New Delhi and from 03.10.2013 to 02.12.2013 when departing from Dibrugarh Town.
    * The 12454/12453 New Delhi- Ranchi- New Delhi Rajdhani Express train will be augmented by two additional A.C. 2 Tier & o­ne additional A.C. 3 Tier coaches from 03.10.2013 to 28.11.2013 when departing from New Delhi and from 05.10.2013 to 30.11.2013 when departing from Ranchi.

NEW DELHI: Railways have decided to launch a new air-conditioned train between Amritsar and Lalkuan in Uttarakhand.The new weekly Amritsar-Lalkuan AC Express train will be operational every Wednesday from October 2 in both the directions, said a senior Northern Railway official adding "there was a demand by the local people for the train and it was included in the budget proposal."The AC Express train shall depart from Amritsar at 5.55 AM every Wednesday and reach Lalkuan at 8.50 PM the same day. In the return direction, the train will leave Lalkuan every Wednesday at 11.15 PM to reach Amritsar at 2.45 PM the next day.Consisting of 13 AC III tier coaches and three AC Chair Car coaches, the Amritsar-Lalkuan-Amritsar train will stop at Beas, Jalandhar, Phagwara, Ludhiana, New Morinda, Sahibzada Ajitsingh Nagar, Chandigarh, Ambala Cantonment, Jagadhari, Saharanpur, Roorkee, Laksar, Najibabad, Moradabad and Kashipur stations enroute in both the directions.

Secunderabad:  The South Central Railway will temporarily augment certain Express trains with additional coaches to clear extra rush and waitlisted passengers.

As many as 1,584 additional berths will be provided by attaching additional coaches to Express trains.

Secunderabad-Hazarath Nizamuddin Duronto Express will be augmented with one additional AC II Tier and one sleeper class coaches on September 26 and 29, October 3 and 6.

Hazarath Nizamuddin-Secunderabad Duronto Express will be augmented with one additional AC-II tier and one sleeper class coaches on September 27, 30, October 4 and 7.

Tirupati-Hazarath Nizamuddin AP Samaparak Kranthi express will be augmented with one additional AC-III tier coach on September 25, 27, 30 and October 2 and 4.

Hazarath Nizamuddin-Tirupati AP Samaparak Kranthi express will be augmented with one additional AC-III Tier coach on September 27 and 29 and October 2, 4 and 6.

In all, 8 AC-II tier, 10 AC-III tier and 8 sleeper class coaches totalling 26 additional coaches will be attached to the above trains. These additional coaches will make available 1,584 additional berths to clear extra rush and waitlisted passengers.

Additional halts

The SCR will also provide additional stoppage for Secunderabad-Sirpurkhaznagar Telangana Express at Ravindrakhani on Mancherial-Bellampalli section on an experimental basis for a period of six months with effect from September 25.

Accordingly, the train will arrive/depart from Ravindrakhani at 12.09/12.10 hrs. In the return direction, it will arrive/depart Ravindrakhani at 15.24/15.25 hrs.

Additional stoppages will be provided for a minute for the following trains on an experimental basis for a period of six months.

Additional stoppage at Basmet station on Hingoli-Purna section for Ajmer-Hyderabad bi-weekly express with effect from October 1.

Accordingly, the train will arrive/depart Basmet at 17.59/18.00 hrs. In the opposite direction it will arrive/depart Basmet at 02.29/02.30 hrs.

Tirupati-Amaravati bi-weekly express will also halt at Basmet station on Hingoli-Purna section with effect from September 30.

Accordingly, the train will arrive/depart Basmet at 10.04/10.05 hrs. In the opposite direction it will arrive/depart Basmet at 10.54/10.55 hrs.

Similarly CSMT Kolhapur-Dhanbad Dikshabhumi Express will stop at Kinwat station on Hazur Sahib Nanded–Adilabad section with effect from September 28.

Accordingly, the train will arrive/ depart Kinwat at 00.59/01.00 hrs. In the return direction it will arrive/depart Kinwat at 23.44/23.45 hrs.

Patna-Purna express will halt at Himayatnagar station on Hazur Sahib Nanded-Sahasrakund section with effect from October 4.

Accordingly, the train will arrive/depart Himayatnagar at 03.59/04.00 hrs. In the opposite direction, it will arrive/depart Himayatnagar at 20.04/20.05 hrs.

Hyderabad-Kochuveli Sabari express will halt at Wadakancherry station. The train  will stop at Wadakancherry from September 24 to October 15. In the opposite direction it will stop at Wadakancherry from September 25 to Ocotber 16.

14 Special Trains

To clear extra rush of passengers during the ensuing festival season, 14 weekly special trains will run between Nagercoil and Kacheguda.

Kacheguda-Nagercoil weekly special train will depart from Kacheguda at 16.00 hrs on Wednesdays ie Oct 2,9,16, 23, 30 and November 6 and 13 and arrive in Nagercoil at 21.15 hrs the next day.

In the return direction the train will depart from Nagercoil at 18.10 hrs on Tuesdays ie, Oct 1,8,15, 22, 29 and November 5 and 12 and arrive in Kacheguda at 13.55 hrs the next day.

गाजियाबाद-मेरठ सिटी-सहारनपुर सेक्शन पर दो पुलों के मरम्मत कार्य के लिए 25 सितंबर को रात पौने ग्यारह बजे से पांच घंटे तक यातायात बंद रहेगा।
जिसके चलते उस दिन नई दिल्ली-देहरादून एसी एक्सप्रेस (12205) तिलक ब्रिज-दिल्ली शहादरा-शामली-टपरी होकर तथा अमृतसर-बिलासपुर छत्तीसगढ़ एक्सप्रेस (18238) टपरी-शामली-दिल्ली शाहदरा-तिलक ब्रिज के रास्ते चलेगी। जबकि देहरादून- नई दिल्ली एसी एक्सप्रेस (12206) को मुजफ्फरनगर में 30 मिनट रोककर चलाया जाएगा।
