रेलवे ने काफी उम्मीदों के साथ 04463 लखनऊ - नई दिल्ली विशेष शताब्दी की घोषणा की थी| इस ट्रेन को आज दोपहर एक बजे जाना था और रात ९ बजे दिल्ली पहुचना था| प्रतिदिन चलने वाली शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस की लंबी वेटिंग लिस्ट को देखते हुए रेलवे ने निर्णय लिया की शताब्दी की ही तरह अगर और सुपरफास्ट गाडी चलाई जाये तो यात्रियों को सुविधा के साथ रेलवे को फायदा भी होगा|
पर ऐसा हुआ नहीं| इस गाड़ी की ज्यादातर डीटेइन खली ही रहीं जिस वजह से रेलवे को ये गाड़ी निरस्त करनी पड़ी| पहले 04463 लखनऊ - नई दिल्ली विशेष शताब्दी के स्टॉपेज भी मात्र कानपुर और गाजियाबाद ही निर्धारित था जिसे बढाकर अलीगढ और टूंडला कर दिया गया था|

Anticipating much attention to duplicate Shatabdi as what railway called, it announced 04463 Lucknow-New Delhi Superfast Holiday Special that will run as like Shatabdi. But it seems passengers stayed away from the train which forced railway to cancel the train.

04463 Lucknow-New Delhi Superfast Holiday Special was to leave Lucknow today at 01:00PM in the afternoon. It would have reached Delhi by 9 o clock in the evening; also railway increased its stoppages from Kanpur and Ghaziabad to Aligarh and Tundla. But, it found very few takers due to which it is cancelled.

Northeast Frontier Railway has announced 82501/82502 Weekly Suvidha special train from Kamakhya to Bangalore Cantonment.

This train will do 10 trips between Kamakhya and Bangalore Cantonment to clear the rush of passengers this festival season.

82501 Kamakhya - Bangalore Cantonment Weekly Suvidha special train will run on 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 November. This train will leave Kamakhya at 08:10PM, while in return direction it will depart from Bangalore at 10:15AM on 4, 11, 18, 25 November and 2 December.

The train will have one four AC-3 tier, AC-2 tier, and nine Sleeper Class coaches. It will have a stoppage at New Bongaigaon in Assam and its fare structure will be dynamic.

दिल्ली से चलने वाली ट्राइबल विशेष गाड़ी जिसे बरकाकाना होते हुए रांची जाना था गलत रूट पर जाने की वजह से ये ट्रेन गया पहुँच गयी| ये घटना 26  अक्टूबर की है जब ये ट्रेन 100  किमी आगे जा चुकी थी फिर इसे उल्टी दिशा में वापस भेज गया|
झारखण्ड सरकार के अधिकारियों को जैसे ही इसकी सूचना मिली उन्होंने रांची रेल मंडल के अधिकारियों से संपर्क किया जिन्होंने मुगलसराय डिवीज़न को जानकारी दी|
अधिकारियों के अनुसार एक और ट्राइबल गाड़ी जो जमशेदपुर से दिल्ली गयी थी उसे वापस जमशेदपुर लौटना था और रांची जा रही ट्राइबल गाड़ी को जमशेदपुर जाने वाली गाड़ी समझ लिया गया और गलत रूट पर भेज दिया गया|
इस ट्रेन को वापस सोननगर लाया गया और वहां से गढ़वा और डालटनगंज होते हुए रांची भेज गया|

12364 हल्दीबाड़ी - कोलकाता सुपरफास्ट एक्सप्रेस जो सप्ताह में तीन बार हल्दीबाड़ी से कोलकाता जाती है आज बदले हुए रूट से कोलकाता पहुंचेगी| ये गाड़ी आज सुबह साढ़े आठ बजे चलकर आज रात आठ बजे से पहले कोलकाता पहुँचती है|
इस गाड़ी को मालदा टाउन से दिवेररत कर दिया जाएगा और ये निम्न स्टेशनों से होते हुए कोलकत्ता पहुंचेगी - 
अजीमगंजकटवा बंडल नैहाटी
मालदा टाउन और कोलकाता के बीच जिन स्टेशनों पर ये नहीं जाएगी वो हैं -
पाकर रामपुर हाट बोलपुर बर्द्धमान 
रूट बदलने की वजह से इसके पहुँचने के समय में काफी परिवर्तन आ सकता है|

12364 Haldibari-Kolkata Superfast Express is diverted today. The train runs between Haldibari and Kolkata. It was diverted from Malda Town towards Kolkata and went through following stations –

यात्रियों की मांग और सुविधा को देखते हुए रेलवे ने डुप्लीकेट शताब्दी चलाने की घोषणा की थी | 04463 डुप्लीकेट शताब्दी 31  अक्टूबर को लखनऊ से दिल्ली सुबह पांच बजे जानी थी पर अब इसका अमय परिवर्तित कर दोपहर एक बजे कर दिया गया है|
लखनऊ से दिल्ली जाने वाले यात्रियों की इतनी भीड़ है कि रेलवे को इसका समय बदलने के साथ इसके स्टॉपेज भी बढ़ाने पड़े | पहले ये गाडी सिर्फ गाजियाबाद और कानपुर ही रुकने वाली थी पर अब टुंडला और अलीगढ भी रुकेगी|
04463  डुप्लीकेट शताब्दी स्पेशल 31 अक्टूबर को दोपहर एक बजे लखनऊ से चलकर रात नौ बजे नई दिल्ली पहुंचेगी| ये गाडी ढाई बजे कानपुर, सवा पांच बजे टुंडला, छह बजकर 50 मिनट पर अलीगढ और करीब आठ बजे गाजियाबाद पहुंचेगी|
एक तरफ शताब्दी में सौ से ऊपर वेटिंग हैं वहीँ इस ट्रेन में अभी बहुत सीटें खाली हैं|

पश्चिमी रेलवे ने रतलाम संभाग से चलने वाली चार ट्रेनों मे एलएचबी डिब्बे लगाने का निर्णय लिया है| जिन चार ट्रेनों के पुराने डिब्बों को हटाकर एलएचबी कोच लगाए जाएंगे वो हैं -
19332 कोचुवेली वीकली एक्सप्रेस, 19301 इंदौर - येसवंतपुर वीकली एक्सप्रेस, 12415 निजामुद्दीन एक्सप्रेस, 12962 अवंतिका एक्सप्रेस 
कपूरथला की इंटीग्रल कोच फैक्ट्री जो चेन्नई में स्थित है, में एलएचबी डिब्बे बनाये जाते हैं | इन डिब्बों की लंबाई साधारण डिब्बे जिन्हें आईसीएफ भी कहा जाता है, उनसे १.७ मीटर लंबी होती है| इनकी अधिक लंबाई की वजह से इनमे छह सीटें ज्यादा होती है, जिससे ज्यादा यात्रियों को जगह मिल सकती है|
हर डिब्बे में छह अधिक सीटें होने की वजह से औसतन एक ट्रेन में 150  अधिक यात्री सफर कर सकते हैं | स्लीपर एलएचबी डिब्बों में 78  सीटें होती हैं जबकि साधारण स्लीपर में 72, इसी तरह एसी 2  टियर में 48  की अपेक्षा 54 , एसी प्रथम श्रेणी में 20  की जगह 24  और एसी तीन श्रेणी में भी 78 |
इसके अलावा साधारण श्रेणी डिब्बों में भी 90  की जगह 100  सीटें होती हैं| रतलाम डिवीज़न में यात्रा करने वालों की काफी अच्छी संख्या है जो ज्यादा सीटें होने के बाद ज्यादा अच्छी तरह से रेलवे द्वारा नियंत्रित हो पाएगी|
इन सभी बातों के अलावा सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात जो एलएचबी डिब्बों को अलग करती है वो है इसका सस्पेंशन सिस्टम जो आधुनिक होने के कारण इन डिब्बों को 180 किमी  की अधिकतम गति से चलने की छमता प्रदान करता है|

Western Railway has chosen four trains from Ratlam Division that connects Indore to various cities of country, to replace old coaches from new LHB coaches.

• 19332 Kochuveli Weekly Express,
• 19301 Indore-Yesvantpur Weekly Express,
• 12415 Nizamuddin Express,
• 12962 Avantika Express

-are the four trains that will get new LHB coaches.

LHB coaches are manufactured in Kapurthala Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. These coaches are 1.7meters longer than the normal coaches which are used till now. This helps to accommodate more passengers per coach. As per railway official, atleast 150 more passengers can be accommodated in the train once LHB coaches will be used because of increased seating capacity. A big number of people travel in Ratam Division through Indian Railways.

A LHB sleeper class coach has 78 seats in comparison to 72 of normal coach. Similarly a LHB AC first class coach has 24 seats in comparison to 20 seats, 54 seats in AC two tier in comparison to 46 seats off normal coach while AC three tier LHB coach can also accommodate 78 seats instead of 72.

Even general unreserved LHB coach has 10 seats more than normal unreserved coach which has 90.

Apart from seats, these coaches are built with modular interiors and wider windows. Also suspension system is enhanced which allows them to attain a maximum speed of 180kmph.

Northeast frontier railway has introduced 05944 / 05943 Dibrugarh-Agartala weekly special considering high demand from passengers.

The services of this train will commence from Dibrugarh on November 20 while from Agartala on November 21.

05944 Dibrugarh-Agartala weekly special will depart from Dibrugarh on Sundays at 10:30PM in the evening and will arrive Agartala on Mondays at 7PM in the evening.

The return journey of 05943 Agartala - Dibrugarh weekly special will commence every Monday. The train will leave from Agartala at 10PM in the evening and will arrive Dibrugarh at 07:20PM in the Tuesday’s evening.
