सुविधा ट्रेनों को रेलवे ने यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए ही चलाया था और वो सुविधा अभी तक यात्रियों को दी जा रही है| हालाँकि यॆ सुविधा अब यात्रियों के लिए काफी मेहेंगी सिद्ध हो रही है| हालात ये हो गए हैं की एसी 3 का टिकट हवाई टिकट से काफी ऊपर पहुँच गया है|
भोपाल से दिल्ली का एसी 3 टियर का किराया आमतौर पर 1045  रूपए होता है पर ये दो हजार पांच सौ रूपए तक पहुँच गया था|
अगर आप एसी 3  टियर में कोलकाता से दिल्ली का सुविधा विशेष टिकट करते तो ये 7185  रूपए पड़ता जबकि एसी 2 टियर का नौ हजार| आपको बता दें की हवाई यात्रा करने के लिए आपको पांच हजार ही रूपए देने पड़ते|
वहीँ दिल्ली से चेन्नई की यात्रा जो 2000 रूपए पड़ती है वो 7185  रूपए पड़ी और चेन्नई कोलकाता जो 1775  रूपए पड़ती है वो 6305  रूपए|

Railway started Suvidha Special trains so that passengers can really have “Suvidha” (facility) of available seats even during the most demanding times and really Suvidha Special does provide the luxury of available seats. However the problem with Suvidha trains are that their flexi fare system is much more demanding than compared to airlines that is why a AC 3 Tier ticket rose to such heights that it became way costlier than airline ticket. Just check out the numbers –

The normal price for an AC 3 Tier ticket of Bhopal to Delhi will cost you Rs 1045 but it shot up as high as Rs 2500. You might feel it is not costlier than an air ticket than check out this.

If you would have booked ticket to travel between Kolkata to Delhi in AC 3 tier, you needed to shell out Rs 7,185 and Rs. 9000 for AC 2 tier while air fare between Delhi to Kolkata is Rs 5000.

A normal AC 3 tier fare from Delhi to Chennai is Rs 2000 which went as high as 7,185.

In the same way Chennai-Kolkata normal AC 3 tier fare is Rs 1,775 which went upto Rs 6,305.

Railway runs Suvidha trains only during peak season on busiest routes in order to earn more but while earning they want to burn a hole in passenger’s pockets, is forcing passengers to take aerial route.

Trains moving through Ratlam Division might soon get more unreserved coaches and increasedd number off RAC seats.

A proposal has been sent to Railway board by western railway to raise the number of unreserved coaches and number of RAC seats. Railway says that when number of available seats are compared to number passengers travel on trains passing through this division, it is very hard to fill the gap. The number of passengers are way high than to the number of seats available for accommodation. Passengers are even willing to just sit and travel provided there is space on offer.

Railway board wants every mail express, rajdhani, duronto or other premium trains that travel through this division must have more number of RAC seats and unreserved coaches where applicable.

Apart from the passenger perspective Railway also thinks that they can earn 1500 crore rupees with these adjustments.

As per the proposal railway wants that side lower seat must be allotted for RAC to accommodate two passengers and the number of RAC seats should be raised to 8 in AC three tier than compared to 4 an in AC Two tier to 6 compared to 3 as per the rule.

In mail express trains the total RAC seats should be raised to 80 than compared to 72.

Konkan Railway will revert back timings of several trains that were revised during monsoon season. The changes will be effective from November 1 itself.

12617 Ernakulam Junction-Hazarat Nizamuddin Mangala Express will now run on its original time at 01:15PM from Ernakulam Junction. During monsoon season it was running at 10:45AM.

12224 Ernakulam–Lokmanyatilak Duranto Express that run on every Wednesday and Sunday will depart from Ernakulam Junction at 09:30PM. During monsoon season this train used to depart at 11:30PM.

16337/16338 Ernakulam-Okha-Ernakulam Express will run up to Okha. During monsoon season this train terminates at Hapa.

In Kerala Sabarimala Season is celebrated from November 17 to January 16 due to which number of passengers travelling this season spikes. For the comfort of passengers railways has decided to make Tiruvalla as a temporary stop for two trains.

22659/22660 Kochuveli-Dehradun-Kochuveli Express and 22654/22653 Hazrath Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrath Nizamuddin Express will stop at Tiruvalla temporarily for two minutes.

14323 रोहतक - नई दिल्ली इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस को आंशिक रूप से निरस्त कर दिया गया| ये गाडी बहादुरगढ़ तक गयी और वहीँ से निरस्त हो गयी|
बहादुरगढ़ से रोहतक लगभग एक घंटे का रास्ता है पर यात्री ना होने के कारण इसे बहादुरगढ़ में ही निरस्त कर दिया गया| 
14323 रोहतक - नई दिल्ली इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस सुबह साढ़े दस बजे नई दिल्ली से निकलती है और दोपहर एक बजे रोहतक पहुँच जाती है| इसके बहादुरगढ़ पहुँचने का समय पौने बारह का है|
14324 नई दिल्ली  - रोहतक इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस अब रोहतक की बजे बहादुरगढ़ से प्रस्थान करेगी| इसके बहादुरगढ़ से जाने का समय अपराह्न पौने तीन बजे का है और दिल्ली यॆ शाम चार बजे पहुंचती है|
रोहतक से बहादुरगढ़ करीब आधे घंटे का रास्ता है जहाँ से ये गाडी सवा दो बजे दोपहर में चलती है|

12866 पुरुलिया - हावड़ा एक्सप्रेस को आंशिक रूप से निरस्सत किया गया है | ये गाडी खड़गपुर जंक्शन तक जाएगी| 12866 पुरुलिया - हावड़ा लालमति एक्स्प्रेस पुरुलिया से चलकर हावड़ा जाती है जो खड़गपुर के बाद आता है|
पुरुलिया से ये दोपहर दो बजकर चालीस मिनट पर चलती है और शाम साढ़े आठ बजे हावड़ा पहुंच देती है| अब ये गाडी शाम सवा छह बजे खड़गपुर तक ही जाएगी|

12866 Purulia-Howrah Lalmati Express is partially cancelled and will be terminated at Kharagpur Junction instead of Howrah junction.

The train departs from Purulia today at 02:40PM in the afternoon and arrives Howrah at 08:30PM in the evening. It will reach Kharagpur at 06:15PM in the evening and will be terminated there itself.

31  अक्टूबर को डुप्लीकेट शतबद्दी बनकर जाने वाली 04463  कल लखनऊ-दिल्ली एसी एक्सप्रेस बनके जाएगी| सीटों की बुकिंग न होने के कारण आज की ट्रेन निरस्सत कर दी गयी पर इसे अब कल भेज जाएगा|
इसके लिए रेलवे लोगों को जानकारी दे रहा है क्योंकि दिवाली के बाद लौटने वाले लोगों की अत्यधिक भीड़ रहती है और सीटों के लियॆ मारा मारी बढ़ जाती है| 04463 लखनऊ-दिल्ली एसी एक्सप्रेस पहले की ही तरह एक बजे दोपहर मे प्रस्थान करेगी और रात नौ बजे दिल्ली पहुंचाएगी|
ट्रेन की सीटों की बुकिंग शुरू हो गई है और जिन भी यात्रियूं को दिल्ली का कन्फर्म टिकेट नहीं मिला है वो इस ट्रेन का लाभ उठा सकते हैं|
