14101 प्रयाग - कानपुर एक्सप्रेस जो प्रयाग से चलकर कानपुर जाती है आज नहीं जाएगी| ये गाड़ी शाम साढ़े चार बजे प्रयाग से प्रतिदिन निकलती है और उसी दिन रात में नौ बजे तक कानपुर पहुँच जाती है|
प्रयाग से कानपुर 208 किमी की दूरी पर है जिसे ये पूरा करने में साढ़े चार घंटों का समय लेती है| ये गाड़ी निम्न स्टेशनों से होते हुए चलती है -

19053 सूरत - मुजफ्फरपुर एक्सप्रेस आज सुबह रावण नहीं हुई| ये गाड़ी हर शुक्रवार सूरत से सुबह छह बजकर दस मिनट पर चलती है और तीसरे दिन सुबह साढ़े चार बजे मुजफ्फरपुर पहुंचती है|
2142 किमी का सफर पूरा करने में इसे 46 घण्टों से ज्यादा का समय लग जाता है| सूरत और मुजफ्फरपुर के बीच ये इन स्टेशनों पर रुकती है -

12419 गोमती एक्सप्रेस जो लखनऊ से सुबह छह बजे चलकर दिल्ली जाती है आज लखनऊ से नहीं चली| ये गाड़ी दोपहर तीन बजे तक दिल्ली पहुँचती है|
12420 गोमती एक्सप्रेस जो रोजाना लगभग साढ़े बारह बजे दिल्ली से चलती है और रात साढ़े नौ बजे लखनऊ पहुँचती है आज नहीं चलेगी| इस ट्रेन से दैनिक यात्रा करने वालों की काफी भीड़ होती है| जिन स्टेशनों से गुजरती है वो हैं -

12179  / 12180 आगरा - लखनऊ इंटरसिटी आज दोनों ही तरफ से निरस्त कर दी गयी|
12180 आगरा लखनऊ इंटरसिटी सुबह पांच बजकर पचास मिनट पर आगरा कैंट से चलती है और पौने बारह बजे लखनऊ पहुँचती है वही 12179 लखनऊ से चलने वाली इंटरसिटी दोपहर बाद चार बजे के लगभग लखनऊ से चलती है और रात दस बजे आगरा पहुंचती है|
ये दोनों ही गाड़ियाँ प्रतिदिन कानपुर, इटावा, फ़िरोज़ाबाद और टुंडला होते हुए आगरा और लखनऊ के बीच चलती हैं|

Railways has taken a decision to run a special train between Bidar and Dharur.

07023 Bidar – Dharur Special will run on November 11 and 13 this year while 07024 Dharur Bidar Special will also run on the same date i.e. November 11 and 13.

07023 Bidar – Dharur Special will depart from Bidar at 10:00AM in the morning on Friday and Sunday and will arrive at Dharur at 01:30PM on the same day.

07024 Dharur Bidar Special will depart from Dharur at 07:20PM in the evening of Friday and Sunday and will arrive at Bidar at 11:00PM on the same day.

During this journey this train will stop on the following stations from both the sides –

• Mailram
• Gidamgura
• Vikarabad
• Sadashivpet Road
• Kohi Deccan
• Zahirabad

Railway will run a holiday special train between Secunderabad and Kakinada Town. 07011 / 07012 Secunderabad – Kakinada Town Holiday Special will run from 11 November to 14 November this year.

07011 Secunderabad – Kakinada Town Holiday Special will run from November 11 to 13. This will depart on Friday and Saturday from Secunderabad at 07:15PM in the evening and will arrive Kakinada Town at 05:15AM in the morning next day.

07012 Secunderabad – Kakinada Town Holiday Special will run on November 13 and 14. This train will depart Kakinada Town on Sunday and Monday at 06:00PM in the evening and will arrive Secunderabad at 04:30AM in the morning next day.

This train will stop on the following stations from both sides –

• Samalkot
• Rajamundry
• Tadepalligudem
• Eluru
• Vijaywada
• Guntur
• Sattenapalle
• Piduguralla
• Miryalaguda
• Nalgonda

Railway has announced a special train that will run between Alipur Duar Junction and Kolkata.  

03130 Alipur Duar – Kolkata Special will run from November 11 to November 23 this year.

This weekly special train will run on Mondays. It will depart from Alipur Duar junction at 04:50PM in the evening and will arrive Kolkata next day at 08:45 morning.

The total distance from Alipur Duar to Kolkata is 731kilometers. This train will cover this distance in 16 hours.

In its journey it will pass through these stations –

• Hasimara
• Binnaguri
• New Mal jn
• Siliguri Jn
• New Jalpaiguri
• Kishanganj
• Malda Town
• Rampur Hat
• Barddhman 

भारतीय सरकार के विमुद्रीकरण की घोषणा के बाद जब ये बताया गया की यात्री अपने पुराने नोट को रेलवे के बुकिंग कॉउंटर पर दे सकते हैं तबसे रेल बुकिंग काउंटर पे इतनी भीड़ हो गयी है की रेलवे के पास सभी छोटे नोट समाप्त हो गए हैं जिस वजह से यात्रियों को टिकट नहीं मिल रहे हैं और उन्हें बुकिंग काउंटर से वापस आना पड़ रहा है|
इसके लिए रेलवे ने आरबीआई का दरवाजा खटखटाया है जिससे सौ, पचास और दस के नोट अच्छी संख्या में उपलब्ध हो पाएं|
गौरतलब है की यात्री छोटे से छोटे मूल्य के टिकेट के लिए पांच सौ या हजार का ही नोट दे रहे हैं जिस वजह से सभी छोटे संख्या वाले नोट समाप्त हो जा रहे हैं| रेलवे टिकट काउंटर पर भीड़ में चालीस प्रतिशत का इजाफा भी हो गया है|
लोगों ने बताया कि 150 रूपए के मूल्य के टिकेट के लिए 500 का नोट देने पर क्लर्क खुले पैसे देने से मना कर दे रहा है जिस वजह से बुकिंग के लिए लम्बी कतारें लग जा रही है और बाकी यात्रियों को घण्टों तक इंतेज़ार करना पड़ रहा है|

After announcement off demonetization Railway passengers are facing a tough time at ticket counters. Most of the ticket counters of all major cities where there is heavy traffic of passengers like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangaluru etc. passengers are being denied tickets due to unavailability of smaller currency notes.

Government announced that railway counters will continue accepting old 1000 and 500 rupee notes till November 11. The problem started when most of the passengers offered old notes even for small trips costing less than Rs 100. Since railway booking counters can accept old notes but cannot return it therefore availability smaller currency notes shrank. This problem got translated into extra-long queues leaving passengers waiting for hours in the line.

Many passengers described their woes when they gave a 500 rupee note in exchange for Rs 150 ticket, they were denied of the ticket instantly due to unavailability of change. Many had to leave their train due to this reason.

The same problem was face by passengers at cafeteria where they were denied food due to unavailability of change.

Indian railways sell six lakh tickets through live counters on an average daily which were affected instantly by this decision.
