There has been permanent attachment of extra coaches in the following trains by Southern Railways –

• 16115 / 16116 Chennai Egmore – Puducherry – Chennai Egmore express will get two extra Second class Chair car coaches. Train from Chennai Egmore ran with extra coaches today, while train coming from Puducherry will run with extra coaches from tomorrow.
• 16115 / 16116 Chennai Egmore – Puducherry – Chennai Egmore express passenger train will get one extra General Second class coach.
• 56042 / 56041 Puducherry – Tirupati – Puducherry passenger trains will run with an extra General Second class coach from today itself.

Western Railway has announced a jumbo block that will take place from 10.35AM to 15.35PM on Up & Down fast lines this Sunday, 13th November, 2016.

This block will take place between Churchgate and Mumbai Central local stations for signalling, maintenance of track and check-up of overhead equipment.

During the block all Up & down fast line trains will run on Up & Down slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central local stations.

There will also be some cancellation of local trains on Up & Down lines due to block. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters.

Western railways has also requested passengers to take note of the above arrangements.

A special train between Bhuj and Ahmedabad is announced by western railways that will do two trips – one up and one down between the two stations. These trains will also carry special fare on them.

09035 Bhuj – Ahmedabad Superfast Special train will run November 13 while 09036 Ahmedabad - Bhuj Superfast Special will run on November 14.

09035 Bhuj – Ahmedabad Superfast Special train will depart from Bhuj at 11:20hrs on Sunday and will reach Ahmedabad next day at 05:50AM in the morning.

09036 Ahmedabad - Bhuj Superfast Special will depart from Ahmedabad at 11:35PM on Monday night and will reach Bhuj at 06:05AM next day morning.

Both these trains will stop enroute on these stations –

• Anjar,
• Gandhidham,
• Bhachau,
• Samakhiali Jn and
• Viramgam

These trains will comprise of First AC, second AC, Third AC and Sleeper coaches.

Western railway will run a special train between Mumbai central and Bhuj from today. This train will do two trips in all one from each side to facilitate easy mobility between the two stations. These trains will also carry special fare on it.

09033 Mumbai Central - Bhuj Superfast Special train will depart from Mumbai today i.e. November 12 at 07:45PM in the evening and will reach Bhuj next day at 11:05AM.

09034 Bhuj – Mumbai Central Superfast Special will leave from Bhuj on November 15 in the return direction. This train will depart from Bhuj at 03:40PM in the evening and will arrive Mumbai next day at 06:15AM in the morning.

Both these trains will cover the following stations –

• Borivali,
• Vapi,
• Surat,
• Vadodara,
• Ahmedabad,
• Samakhiali Jn and
• Gandhidham

09033 /09034 Mumbai Central - Bhuj Superfast Special will comprise of AC First, AC second, AC Three and Sleeper coaches

Railway ministry is placing Station Directors gradually to 75 chosen stations. According to Railways appointment on this post will enhance functioning of railway stations significantly. Out of chosen 75 stations Nagpur has also formed a part that will get Station Directors.

As of now on 12 stations Station Directors had already been appointed. These stations are – Mumbai’s – CSTM and LTT, Mumbai Central, Delhi, New Delhi, Secunderabad, Chennai Central, Bengaluru, Howrah, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Sealdah,

Officers belonging to traffic/commercial departments will be manning to post of Station Directors.

By the end of this year rest 63 stations will also get their own station directors who will ensure proper cleanliness, prompt and hassle free service to passengers, maintenance of hygiene on all cafeterias, working efficiency of ticket counters, maintenance of all passenger amenities etc.

Station director will also be responsible for raising revenue from commercial advertisement and upkeep off passenger enquiry system.

जोधपुर मंडल में आने वाले मेड़तारोड स्टेशन पर कल से नॉन - इंटरलॉकिंग का कार्य शुरू होने जा रहा है जिस वजह से रेल यातायात पर प्रभाव पड़ेगा| इस रूट से जाने वाली सोलह ट्रेनें या तो बदले हुए मार्ग से जाएंगी या देरी से चलेंगी|

14221 / 14222 फ़ैजाबाद - कानपुर अनवरगंज जाने वाली गाड़ी लखनऊ तक ही जाएगी और इसी तरह कानपुर से फ़ैजाबाद जाने वाली गाडी लखनऊ से ही वापस फ़ैजाबाद जाएगी|
18191 / 18192 छपरा कानपुर अनवरगंज लखनऊ से फर्रुखाबाद के बीच आंशिक रूप से निरस्त कर दिया गया है| ये गाडी दोनों ही तरफ निरस्त रहेगी|
