The revised train composition will consist of 11 coaches in place of 10 which will include nine chair cars and two luggage – cum – brake Van. |

South Western Railway has decided to provide temporary stoppage for 56271 / 56272 Shivamogga Town - Chikkamagaluru -Shivamogga Town Passenger and 56277 / 56278 Chikkamagaluru – Yesvantpur -Chikkamagaluru Passenger at Kanivehalli and Bisilehalli Stations. Both these stoppages are provided on experimental basis for six months starting from May 5 to November 4. Train number 56271 Shivamogga Town-Chikkamagalur Passenger will arrive Kadur at 08:50PM and in the return direction at 06:49Am in the morning. Train number 56278 Yesvantpur - Chikkamagaluru Passenger will arrive Bisilehalli at 08:50PM and in the return direction at 08:20AM in the morning. |

Earlier Central Railway announced a special AC train between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Shirdi. This train was scheduled to run till June 28 between the two stations. However due to poor occupancy Central Railway has cancelled this train. Accordingly train number 04412 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Sainagar Shirdi AC Summer special train will not run from May 9 to June 27 and train number 04411 Shirdi – Hazrat Nizamuddin AC Summer special will not run from May 10 to June 28. |

South Eastern Railway earlier imposed a traffic and power block in Waltair Division of East Coast Railway for Subway related work. Due to imposed block train number 12863 Howrah – Yesvantpur Express was rescheduled on May 7, 2017. However, as subway related work is now postponed therefore 12863 Howrah – Yesvantpur Express will run as per its schedule i.e. 08:35PM until further notice. |
