प्रतापगढ़। आरक्षण काउंटर लिपिकों की कमी से जूझ रहा है। इसके चलते रोस्टर के तहत लगने वाली ड्यूटी में भी दिक्कत आ रही है। अगर कोई लिपिक छुट्टी पर जाता है तो एक काउंटर खाली हो जाता है। यह खाली काउंटर सीआरएस को स्वयं बैठकर चलाना पड़ता है।
आरक्षण काउंटर पर लोड बढ़ रहा है लेकिन कार्यालय में कर्मियों की कमी है। 12 लिपिकों के स्टाफ में महज सात से ही काम चलाया जा रहा है। इन दिनों रात में 10 बजे तक काउंटर हो जाने के कारण दो घंटे की अतिरिक्त ड्यूटी भी बढ़ गई है। साल भर पहले आरक्षण कार्यालय में 12 लिपिकों की तैनाती थी। इसके बाद एक-एक करके पांच लिपिकों का ट्रांसफर कर दिया गया। इसके बाद दो ट्रेनें भी बढ़ीं। लोगों की भीड़ भी बढ़ी। इसके साथ ही निरीक्षण के दौरान अधिकारियों ने दो की जगह तीन काउंटर खोलने का निर्देश दे दिया। हालत यह है कि अब लिपिकों को छुट्टी लेने में दिक्कत आ रही है। यदि किसी को आकस्मिक छुट्टी लेनी पड़ती है तो एक काउंटर खाली रहता है। खाली काउंटर पर सीआरएस को बैठकर टिकट बनाने पड़ते हैं। यही नहीं दो काउंटर के अलावा एक पर्यवेक्षक काउंटर बनाया गया है। इसे महज खोला भर गया है। इस पर कोई बैठता नहीं है। इसका कारण है कि इस पर बैठने के लिए कोई आदमी ही नहीं होता है। हफ्ते में पड़ने वाली 40 ड्यूटी को यदि ठीक से चलाना है तो लिपिकों के रेस्ट भी रद करने पड़ते हैं। एकाउंट, चार्ट के अलावा फेलियर आदि की समस्या होने पर भी लोगों की जरूरत पड़ती है। ऐसे में आदमी कम होने से भारी समस्या हो जाती है।
आरक्षण काउंटर पर कम से कम 12 लिपिकों की जरूरत होती है। इसमें दो प्रधान आरक्षण लिपिक, दो पर्यवेक्षक, एक सीआरएस के साथ ही सात लिपिक होने चाहिए। बावजूद इसके सब को मिलाकर महज सात ही होते हैं। इस बाबत सीनियर डीसीएम को कई बार बताया गया लेकिन अभी तक आश्वासन के सिवा कोई कार्य नहीं हो सका है।

हाजीपुर रेलवे में ग्रुप डी के 5000 से अधिक पदों की भर्ती के लिए विज्ञप्ति जारी की गई है। इन पदों में कुलियों के 1102 पद, ट्रैकमेन के 1937 पद, हेल्पर के 2449 पद तथा इंजीनियर के 563 पद शामिल हैं। इन रिक्तियों की संख्या घट बढ़ सकती है।

इस विज्ञप्ति में पूर्व सैनिकों के लिए निर्धारित रिक्तियों को भी शामिल किया गया है। आवेदन के लिए न्यूनतम शैक्षिक योग्यता के अंतर्गत उम्मीदवारों को किसी मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान या बोर्ड से 10 वीं पास या आईटीआई/ उत्कृष्टता केंद्र (सीओई) या इनके समकक्ष होना चाहिए।

इन पदों के लिए आवेदक की आयु सीमा 1 जनवरी 2014 को कम से कम 18 वर्ष तथा अधिक से अधिक 33 वर्ष होनी चाहिए। इसमें आरक्षित वर्गों के लिए नियमानुसार छूट है। इन पदों के लिए आवेदन जमा करने की अंतिम तारीख 14 अक्टूबर 2013 है।

इसमें आवेदन करने के लिए आवेदक ''सहायक कार्मिक अधिकारी (आरआरसी), रेलवे भर्ती प्रकोष्ठ, पूर्व मध्य रेलवे के पक्ष में रु. 100/- (एक सौ रुपये. मात्र)) का क्रास्ड भारतीय पोस्टल आर्डर जो पटना में देय होगा, के साथ सभी उपयुक्त प्रमाण पत्रों के साथ सहायक कार्मिक अधिकारी (आरआरसी), रेलवे भर्ती प्रकोष्ठ, पूर्व मध्य रेल, पोलसन कॉम्पलेक्स, दीघाघाट, पटना-800011, बिहार को संबोधित कर साधारण डाक से भेज सकते हैं या रेलवे भर्ती प्रकोष्ठ कार्यालय, पूर्व मध्य रेल, पोलसन कॉम्लेक्स, दीघाघाट, पटना-800011, में इस उद्देश्य के लिए बने आवेदन बॉक्स/कक्ष में (अवकाश के दिन अर्थात शनिवार, रविवार एवं राजपत्रित अवकाश को छोड़कर) सभी कार्यदिवस में डाल सकते हैं।

Two years after diggers started burrowing under the tracks of a railway crossing and masons placed the first brick, the 15m-long underpass adjacent to Jadavpur station has been thrown open last month. Until then, thousands walked across the tracks every day — risking lives or limbs — to avoid a 2km detour via the Prince Anwar Shah Road connector or Sukanta Setu. The underpass, which was supposed to be ready in two months after work began in August 2011, connects KS Roy Road in Jadavpur and Jheel Road in Garfa. It actually took the authorities just 29 days to build the subway from the day an associate professor of Jadavpur University tripped on the tracks and a Canning-bound train severed his right leg in June. Metro took a walk to list the pros and cons.

STAIRS The railway engineers have built low-height or short stairs that are easy to climb up and down — comfortable for the elderly and women in saris. Cyclists could push their bicycles up or down the stairs without pulling a muscle. “Before the subway was opened, I thought pushing my cycle every day across so many stairs would be impossible. But the short and wide stairs are a breeze,” said Jayanta Banerjee, a 72-year-old Garfa resident.

LIGHTS The subway designers had probably gushed after drawing the basic design: “Now let there be light.” Unlike the underpass at Jadavpur 8B crossing, the new one has a pair of tubelights every 10-12ft. “Adequate illumination ensures pedestrian safety. That was always on our mind when we designed and built the underpass,” a senior Eastern Railway official said.

WALL The railways had promised to build a 10ft-high wall along the tracks on both sides — Jadavpur and Garfa — to stop people from walking across the tracks. The wall is missing but some stopgap arrangements are in place: timber, iron pillars and demolished scaffoldings block the illegal passage. Some people still walk on the tracks, sneaking through holes in the makeshift wall. “Our first priority was to open the underpass. Next is the wall,” the railway official said.

SHOPS At least three roadside shops stand right at the entrance to the subway on the Jheel Road side, blocking the path of pedestrians. Another obstacle is illegal parking of bikes and cycles in front of the subway entrance. “I found it difficult to find the underpass because of the clutter of shops and vehicles,” Jheel Road resident Nabanita Mullick said.

STINK Shopkeepers use the stretch between the subway and the tracks as a garbage dump and the stink forces pedestrians to cover their noses. “The shopkeepers have been throwing waste at that spot for several years. Now that the subway has been built, someone should take responsibility to clean up the place,” said Saheli Goswami, a student of Jadavpur University.

EYESORE A week into its inauguration, the Trinamul-backed autorickshaw union had tied political flags across the subway. “We have set up a new route for autos and, hence, the flags,” an autorickshaw driver said.

To clear extra rush of passengers for the ensuing festival season in October and November, the South Central Railway will run 104 special trains between  Secunderabad-Vijayawada, Secunderabad-Guwahati, Secunderabad-LTT Mumbai, Hyderabad-Shalimar (Kolkata), Kacheguda-Mangalore Central and Tirupati-Aurangabad.

Secunderabad-Vijayawada weekly special train will depart from Secunderabad at 23.15 hrs October 4,11,18 and 25 November 1,8,15,22 and 29 (Fridays)and arrive in Vijayawada at 05.00 hrs the next day.In the opposite direction, the train will depart from Vijayawada at 23.00 hrs on October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, November 7,14,21 and 28 (Thursdays) and arrive in Secunderabad at 05.20 hrs the next day.Secunderabad-Guwahati weekly special train will depart from Secunderabad at 07.30 hrs on October 4,11,18 and 25, November 1,8,15, 22 and 29 (Fridays) and arrive in Guwahati at 07.55 hrs on Sundays.

In the return direction, the train will depart from Guwahati at 06.00 hrs on  October 7,14,21 and 28, November 4,11,18 and 25 (Mondays) and arrive in Secunderabad at 09.15 hrs on Wednesdays.Secunderabad-Mumbai LTT weekly superfast AC special train will depart from Secunderabad at 23.45 hrs on Sundays ie, October 6,13,20 and 27, November 3,10,17 and 24 and arrive in Mumbai LTT at 17.05 hrs the next day. 

In the return direction, the train will depart from Mumbai LTT at 20.50 hrs on Mondays ie, Octiber 7,14,21 and 28, November 4,11,18 and 25 and arrive in Secunderabad at 13.45 hrs the next day.

Hyderabad-Shalimar weekly special will depart from Hyderabad at 21.50 hrs on Sundays ie, October 6,13,20 and 27, November 3,10,17 and arrive in Shalimar at 03.00 hrs on Tuesdays.

In the return direction, the train will depart from Shalimar at 11.05 hrs on Tuesdays ie, Octiber 8,15,22 and 29, November 5,12,19 and 26, and arrive in Hyderabad at 15.00 hrs.

Kacheguda-Mangalore Central weekly special will depart from Kacheguda at 06.00 hrs on Tuesdays ie, October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, November 5, 12, 19 and 26 and  arrive in Mangalore Central at 11.20 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, the train will depart from Mangalore Central at 20.00 hrs on Wednesdays ie, October 2,9,16,23 and 30, November 6, 13, 20 and 27 and arrive in Kacheguda at 03.40 hrs on Fridays.

Aurangabad-Tirupati special train will depart from Auranagabad at 18.40 hrs on Fridays ie, October 4, 11, 18 and 25, November 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and arrive in Tirupati at 19.00 hrs the next day.  In the return direction, the train will depart from Tirupati at 21.15 hrs on Saturdays ie, October 5, 12, 19, 26, November 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 and arrive in Aurangabad at 20.30 hrs on the next day.

Train Timings Revised

The South Central Railway will change the train numbers and revise the timings of Kacheguda-Nizamabad passenger train with effect from September 23.

The existing train number 77685 of Nizamabad-Kacheguda passenger train will be changed to 57685. Nizamabad-Kacheguda passenger train will will depart from Nizamabad at 05.00 hrs and arrive in Kacheguda at 09.25 hrs on the same day.

The existing train number 77686 of  Kacheguda-Nizamabad passenger will be changed to 57686. Kacheguda-Nizamabad passenger will depart fromKacheguda at 09.50 hrs and arrive in Nizamabad at 14.00 hrs on the same day.

The existing train number 77687 of Nizamabad-Kacheguda passenger will be changed as 57687. Nizamabad-Kacheguda passenger will depart from Nizamabad at 14.15 hrs and arrive in Kacheguda at 18.30 hrs on the same day

The existing train number Viz. 77688 of Kacheguda-Nizamabad passenger will be changed as 57688. Kacheguda-Nizamabad passenger will depart from Kacheguda at 18.55 hrs and arrive in Nizamabad at 23.45 hrs on the same day.

Timings of Secunderabad-Bidar Express train will be revised with effect from September 20.

Accordingly, SecunderabadÂ-Bidar express train will depart from Secunderabad at 18.30 hrs (instead of 17.30 hrs) and arrive in Bidar at 22.30 hrs on the same day (instead of 21.15 hrs).

There is no change in the timings of Bidar-Hyderabad express.

भोपाल. राजधानी में मेट्रो रेल, मोनो रेल, ट्राम और अन्य सिस्टम में से एक के चयन के लिए कवायद शुरू हो गई है। प्रोजेक्ट की डिटेल प्रोजेक्ट रिपोर्ट (डीपीआर) बना रही जर्मन कंपनी एलआरटीसी और रोहित एसोसिएट ने इसके लिए जर्मनी में रिपोर्ट तैयार करनी शुरू कर दी है। अक्टूबर के पहले हफ्ते में रिपोर्ट राज्य सरकार को सौंपी जाएगी। रिपोर्ट में कंपनी जिस सिस्टम को भोपाल के लिए उपयुक्त बताएगी, उस पर सरकार की मंजूरी के बाद डीपीआर बनना शुरू होगी।
सूत्रों के मुताबिक अभी तक के अध्ययन में मोनो के बजाय लाइट मेट्रो भोपाल के लिए ज्यादा ठीक लग रही है। चूंकि अभी स्टेशन लोड, टोपोग्राफी, पर्यावरण, आर्थिक स्थिति आदि का अध्ययन बाकी है, इसलिए एक हफ्ते बाद सिस्टम चयन की स्थिति साफ हो पाएगी। कंपनी के मुताबिक भोपाल और इंदौर में सर्वे पूरा कर इन्हें डाटा के रूप कम्प्यूटर पर फीड कर जर्मनी भेज दिया गया है। जर्मनी में कंपनी के विशेषज्ञ डाटा का विश्लेषण कर रिपोर्ट लिख रहे हैं। अब तक 30 फीसदी रिपोर्ट लिखी जा चुकी है। अब आंकड़ों के निष्कर्ष के आधार पर विशेषज्ञ सिस्टम का चयन कर रहे हैं। सितंबर के अंतिम हफ्ते में यह काम पूरा हो जाएगा।
मार्च 2014 में आएगी डीपीआर
डीपीआर का काम चार चरणों में होगा। अक्टूबर में आरंभिक रिपोर्ट तैयार कर मोड का चयन किया जाएगा। इसके बाद चयनित मोड की डीपीआर के लिए सर्वे शुरू होगा। मार्च 2014 में डीपीआर की फाइनल रिपोर्ट राज्य शासन को सौंप दी जाएगी।
इस महीने आंकड़ों के विश्लेषण का काम पूरा हो जाएगा। अक्टूबर में आरंभिक रिपोर्ट सरकार को सौंप दी जाएगी। इसमें राजधानी के लिए बेहतर सिस्टम प्रस्तावित किया जाएगा।

INCREASE IN FREQUENCY OF SOLAPUR – YESVANTPUR EXPRESS FROM TRI-WEEKLY TO DAILY

Ministry of Railways have decided to increase the frequency of Train No. 22133/22134  Solapur – Yesvantpur – Solapur Express from Tri-weekly to Daily. The regular service of increased frequency will commence with effect from 25.9.2013 Ex Yesvantpur and from 26.9.2013 Ex Solapur.

There will be no change in commercial stoppages and timings of Train No. 22133/22134 between Solapur – Yesvantpur – Solapur after increase in frequency. The details are as under:-

Train No. 22133 Solapur – Yesvantpur Express will run DAILY w.e.f. 26.9.2013 and Train No. 22134 Yesvantpur – Solapur Express w.e.f. 25.9.2013


However, the inaugural special of increased frequency will leave from Solapur as Train No. 01333 o­n Tuesday 24.9.2013 at 09.00 hrs and will arrive Yesvantpur at 22.50 hrs same day.

   

Composition: o­ne First AC cum AC-2 tier, o­ne AC-2 tier, o­ne AC-3 tier, 7 Sleeper class, 6 General second class and 2 General second class cum Guard’s brake vans. 

Reservation: Bookings for 01333 (inaugural special) and 22133 for the increased frequency will be open from 21.9.2013.

NEW DELHI: The government is likely to allow FDI in the cash-starved railways sector, particularly for development of rail lines between project sites and existing network, a top government official said.At present, there is a complete ban on any kind of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the railways sector. To allow FDI in the sector, the government needs to remove it from the list of prohibited sectors under the current policy.As per the proposal of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), foreign companies would be allowed to pick up 100 per cent stake in the special purpose vehicle (SPV) that will construct and maintain rail lines connecting ports, mines and industrial hubs with the existing rail network."It will be first-to-last mile connectivity between ports and things like coal mines to the existing railway freight stations," a top government official told PTI.First-to-last mile connectivity would mean smooth movement of raw materials from mines to ports.The DIPP, which deals with FDI-related matters, has completed consultations with the concerned ministries on the proposal."The DIPP will soon seek Cabinet nod for the proposal. They have proposed to permit 100 per cent FDI under automatic route in such projects," the official said.

"The move will help in attracting more and more FDI besides helping in the development of infrastructure for industrial purposes. Indian Railways are facing a cash problem," the official added.

Industrial development and exports have been suffering on account of poor infrastructure which hampers output and raises the cost of production. Railways can play a role in providing a reliable transport facility necessary for promoting industrial growth.

Players setting up sea ports and large mines need efficient railway connectivity. The Railway Ministry's effort towards attracting funds through public-private partnership for infrastructure projects have failed to gather steam.

Minister of State for Railways Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy said in a written response to the Rajya Sabha has said that loss incurred by the Railways in the passenger segment is likely to touch Rs 25,000 crore this year.

The railways will operate a weekly train between Nagpur to Jaipur via Ajmer to fulfill a long pending demand.Accordingly, train number 11203 will depart on Nagpur Thursdays at 11.55 am, reach Ajmer next day at 11.45 am and arrive in Jaipur at 2.05 pm on Friday.Similarly, train number 11204 would leave Jaipur every Friday at 4.30 pm and return to Nagpur on Saturday at 11.15 am, according to a release issued by the Nagpur division of the Central Railway.The train from Nagpur will halt at Katol, Narkhed, Pandhurna, Multai, Betul, Itarsi, Habibganj, Bhopal, Sehore, Shujalpur, Barcha, Ujjain, Nagda, Ramganjwadi, Kota, Bundi, Mandalgarh, Chittodgarh, Bhilwada, Vijaynagar, Nasirabad, Ajmer, Kisanganj, Fulera, Asalpur, Jobner and Kisangarh before reaching Jaipur.

Booking for the train would begin on September 21 and it would be flagged off by Nagpur MP Vilas Muttemwar on September 26, the release said.

Will run from Jabalpur on 30/9 and 3/10 and from Gaya on 1/10 and  4/10

Hard times ahead for ticketless travelers in trains. The Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway has taken special ticket checking drives by deploying special checking squads to identify and penalize people travelling without or with improper tickets in trains. Failure to pay the penalty may even result in prosecution.

Till August 2013 of the current financial year, i.e. from April 2013 to August 2013, these ticket checking squads have booked about 61.53 thousand passengers for travelling without or with improper tickets which is 9.28 thousand more than the corresponding period of last year which is 17.76% more. Similarly, these squads have realized a sum of rupees 2 crore 64 lakhs and 58 thousand from the ticketless travelers during the period which is rupees 48.89 lakhs more than the corresponding period of last year by increasing 22.66%.

These special ticket checking staffs have been entrusted with the task of conducting surprise checks at different stations o­n different days over Khurda Road jurisdiction. The ticket checking squads, headed by a Chief Traffic Inspector (CTI) will conduct surprise checks in trains going in different routes or by camping at a specific station with the help of Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF). The ticket checking staff, however, have been instructed against rude behavior and asked to treat senior citizens and the elderly with respect.
