बरेली: डीआरएम ऑफिस के पास मिंट्टी के ढेर हटा रहे चार रेलवे सफाई कर्मियों को तेज रफ्तार वैन ने टक्कर मार दी। चारों घायलों को रेलवे अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया है। पुलिस ने वैन को कब्जे में ले लिया है।
सुबह करीब 8.30 बजे के आसपास रेलवे के चार सफाई कर्मचारी रेलवे कॉलोनी निवासी फिरोज, नानकचंद, फरीदापुर के जगदीश और परतापुर चौधरी के अशोक डीआरएम ऑफिस के पास लगे मिंट्टी के ढेर हटा रहे थे। इसी बीच एक तेज रफ्तार वैन आई और चारों को टक्कर मार दी। स्थिति इतनी खौफनाक थी कि दो रेलवे कर्मी तो वैन के नीचे जाकर फंस गए। यह देख वैन चालक तुरंत ही मौके से फरार हो गया। फिरोज की हालत गंभीर है।

Train No. 18509/18510 Visakhapatnam-Nanded-Visakhapatnam Express will now be tri-weekly. With effect from Tuesday, the 18509 Visakhapatnam-Nanded Express, leaving Visakhapatnam on Wednesdays and Saturdays will now run on Tuesdays too. It will arrive/depart Secunderabad 9 am/9.20 am on  Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. From August 14, No.18510 Nanded-Viskhapatnam Express, now leaving Nanded on Thursdays and Sundays, will run on Wednesdays too. It will arrive/depart  Secunderabad station at 9.10 pm/9.30 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

From August 15, the 17012 Bellampalli-Hyderabad Express will terminate at Secunderabad. The train will leave Bellampalli at 11 am and reaches Secunderabad at 5 pm.

In a similar manner, 17010 Hyderabad-Bidar Express will start from Secunderabad instead of from Hyderabad. It will leave Secunderabad at 5.30 pm and arrive at Bidar at 9.15 pm.

The timings of 17233 Secunderabad-Balharsha Bhagyanagar Express between Asifabad Road and Vihirgaon will be changed from August 15. It will leave Secunderabad as per the present time i.e. 3.15 pm.

According to the revised section, it will depart from Asifabad Road at 10.25 pm (instead of 8.25 pm), Sirpurkaghaznagar at 11.10 pm (instead of 9.50 pm), Sirpur Town at 11.20 pm (instead of 10.15 pm), Makudi at 11.40 pm (instead of 10.30 pm), Wirur at 11.50 pm (instead of  10.50 hrs), Vihirgaon at 00.15 am (instead of 11.10 pm), leave Manikgarh at its existing time of 00.30 am on the next day and arrive at Balharsha at its existing time of 1 am.

The famed murals of Kerala will soon adorn the Kozhikode railway station, with the pictures bringing out the city’s culture and tradition.

Five mural specialists from Sargaalaya Arts and Crafts Village are decking the upper-class waiting hall near the fourth platform and the VIP lounge near the first platform. Sargaalaya says the murals will be ready for formal unveiling on Friday.

The murals will visualise the theme “Kozhikode — historical capital of Kerala” and will project the culture and tradition of the city.

The initiative comes as part of the Community Assisted Railway Development Scheme of Southern Railway, aimed at communicating the importance of people’s participation in keeping public places clean and beautiful.

“The railway passengers are sure to get a kaleidoscopic view of the city’s culture from the work. We hope to carry this art mission to nearby stations; one such work is already complete at the Kannur station,” T.K. Rajesh, general manager, Sargaalaya, says.

The project was designed after the visit of Divisional Railway Manager Piyush Agarwal to Sargaalaya two months ago, he adds.

Naveen Kumar, P. Sumesh, K. Shanmughan, K.M. Vipin Lal and M. Shamseer are working on the murals.

augment the 12167/12168 Lokmanya Tilak T.- Varanasi- Lokmanya Tilak T. Superfast Express train by o­ne additional A.C. 3 Tier and Two additional Sleeper Class coaches with immediate effect upto 31.08.2013 when departing from Lokmanya Tilak T. & from 15.08.2013 to 01.09.2013 when departing from Varanasi o­n temporary basis. The other features like timings, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.

EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF DELHI SARAI ROHILLA- JAIPUR DOUBLE DECKER TRAIN

extend the augmentation of the 12986/12985 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Jaipur- Delhi Sarai Rohilla Double Decker train by Two additional A.C. Chair Car coaches upto 15.09.2013 o­n temporary basis from both the directions.

For the convenience of the rail passengers and to increase the
passenger carrying capacity of trains, Railway has decided to
augment the 12167/12168 Lokmanya Tilak T.- Varanasi- Lokmanya Tilak T. Superfast Express train by o­ne additional A.C. 3 Tier and Two additional Sleeper Class coaches with immediate effect upto 31.08.2013 when departing from Lokmanya Tilak T. & from 15.08.2013 to 01.09.2013 when departing from Varanasi o­n temporary basis. The other features like timings, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.

GUWAHATI, Aug 13 – Despite facing a stiff challenge in the later part of the match, NF Railway Sports Club managed to earn full points against Sunrise with a 2-1 victory.
In an evenly played match of the Abhishek Motors GSA Super Division Football League for the RG Baruah Trophy at the Nehru Stadium here today, the NF Rly team struck twice in the first session while putting up a spirited show in the second session Sunrise reduced the margin.

Sibra Narzary took NF Rly ahead in the 24th minute with a smart drive off a set piece. Sunrise defender Sanjay Nag was trying to clear the ball with a header but it deflected into his own goal (1-0).

In the 41st minute Railway mid fielder Bapa Biswas tested Sunrise custodian Shanti Ranjan Das with a sharp drive. But the ball rebounded off Shanti’s gloves, opportunist Jenendra Brahma gently headed home to enhance the margin (2-0).

After the break, Sunrise players tried to get their act together and initiating a good move down the right flank and substitute Kailash Gogoi sent the ball to the Railway box. Unmarked Bhumeshor Singh beat the Railway goal keeper K Bijen Singh with a smart volley from a close range in the 55th minute (2-1).

Defending champions Railway players are maintaining a good form this season. Midfielders Bapa, Shashanka Chanda and Sibra Narzary are teaming up in such a way that they have been able to dominate the middle third of the pitch. As a result their frontliners get adequate supply of the ball to put pressure on the opponent defence.

In the first session, the Sunrise players hardly could do anything in front of the Railway goal. However, some hard works were done by Manik Barman and Nigerian Camara in the Railway box. But in the second session Sunrise came back strongly with a series of forays. Along with Camara and Manik, other Nigerian Clearance, Lenin Angom and substitute Hemant Chetri made some courageous efforts to trouble Railway defenders.

Although they got the reducer in the 55th minute, they failed to score the equaliser in the remaining part of the match as Railway defenders were very much cautious in their danger zone.

SAI record first win: Sports Authority of India (SAI) Sports Club recorded their first win this season defeating Abutani Sports Club 4-1 in the Jibeswar Goswami A Division League.

Earlier SAI were defeated by Maharana and Abutani SC.

Sanujal Rabha netted two for SAI (31st and 68th minutes) while Chitrajit Chutai (14th minute) and Irakdau Khaklary (78th minute) were the other scorers. For Abutani Henry Kelechi Oja scored the lone goal in the 69th minute.

New Delhi: No platform tickets will be sold at New Delhi, Nizamuddin and Old Delhi railway stations from 14th August till August 15 due to security reasons on account of the Independence Day. However, platform tickets will be sold on demand to senior citizens, physically challenged and patients, said a senior Northern Railway official.      He said tickets would also be provided to ladies travelling alone or with children.      The railways had earlier decided to stop the movement of trains between Old Delhi and Shahadara on the morning of August 15 in view of the Independence Day function at the nearby Red Fort.

लाल किला पर 15 अगस्त को स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोहों के चलते पुरानी दिल्ली और शाहदरा स्टेशनों के बीच ट्रेनों की आवाजाही अस्थायी रूप से रद्द रहेगी. उत्तर रेलवे के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने बताया कि इस कारण से कुछ ट्रेनों का समय फिर से तय होगा, कुछ का परिचालन नियंत्रित होगा और कुछ ट्रेन रद्द रहेंगी.

अधिकारी ने बताया कि सुबह में 6.45 से 8.30 तक दोनों स्टेशनों के बीच ट्रेनों की आवाजाही रद्द रहेगी. आजमगढ-दिल्ली कैफियत एक्सप्रेस और खुर्जा-पुरानी दिल्ली शकूरबस्ती ट्रेन साहिबाबाद तक रहेगी. प्रतापगढ-पुरानी दिल्ली पद्मावत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन शाहदरा में नियंत्रित होगी.

कालका-हावड़ा मेल और लालगढ़-गुवाहाटी अवध असम एक्सप्रेस अनुमति मिलने तक पुरानी दिल्ली पर रहेगी. देहरादून-सराय रोहिल्ला मसूरी एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन को साहिबाबाद-तिलक ब्रिज-नई दिल्ली-सराय रोहिल्ला की ओर मोड़ा जाएगा. सोनीपत-पुरानी दिल्ली-साहिबाबाद ट्रेन सब्जी मंडी-नई दिल्ली-तिलक मार्ग से होकर जाएगी.

सुबह के घंटों में पाबंदी के कारण कुछ ट्रेनों के प्रस्थान समय में बदलाव किया जा रहा है. शामली-पुरानी दिल्ली पैसेंजर ट्रेन शामली से सुबह में 3.15 के स्थान पर साढ़े चार बजे रवाना होगी.
