Union Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge will flag off the inaugural run of Bidar-Yesvantpur Express (tri-weekly) at 11 a.m. on September 1 at a function to be held at Bidar railway station.The regular run of train no.16572 Bidar-Yesvantpur Tri-weekly Express will commence from September 4 and train no.16571 Yesvantpur-Bidar Tri-weekly Express will commence from September 3.On its regular run, train No.16572 Bidar-Yesvantpur Tri-weekly Express will depart Bidar at 6.25 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and arrive at Yesvanatpur at 7.40 a.m. the next day.In the return direction, train No. 16571 Yesvantpur-Bidar Tri-weekly Express will depart at Yesvantpur at 7.15 p.m. on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and arrive at Bidar at 9.30 a.m. the next day. anil.u@thehindu.co.in

Due to line block/power block to facilitate engineering works in Chennai Central – Gudur section, several trains have been partially cancelled on Saturday.Train No.57239 Chennai Central – Gudur passenger and Train No.57240 Bitragunta – Chennai Central passenger trains will be partially cancelled between Gummidipundi and Chennai Central.

Fully cancelled EMU services are Train No.66026 Sullurupetta - MMC EMU scheduled to leave Sullurupetta at noon and Train No.66027 MMC – Sullurupetta MMC EMU scheduled to leave MMC at 1.40 p.m.

Besides, two EMUs partially cancelled between Ennore and Sullurpetta and ten EMU services partially cancelled between Ennore and Gummidipoondi.Also, for a period of 31 days except Tuesdays, Train No.42423 Mooremarket Complex (MMC) – Sullurupetta EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 8.35 p.m. will be partially cancelled between Elavur – Sullurupetta and Train No.42452 Sullurupetta – Gummidipundi EMU local scheduled to leave Sullurupetta at 10.50 p.m. will be partially cancelled between Sullurupetta - Elavur.

जबलपुर. ट्रेन का रिजर्वेशन करवाते व�त गलत जानकारी देना आगे चलकर आपको बेटिकट साबित कर सकता है। रेलवे ने जो ताजातरीन फरमान निकाले हैं, उनके मुताबिक आरक्षण फार्म में दी गई जानकारी का वैरीफिकेशन कराया जा सकता है।

पता और नंबर गलत साबित होने की स्थिति में पहले तो आरक्षण कैंसल कर दिया जाएगा और इसके बाद भी उस टिकट पर यात्रा की जाती है तो सफर के दौरान बेटिकट का जुर्माना वसूला जाएगा। आरक्षण फार्म भरते समय अब पहले से ज्यादा सतर्क रहने की जरूरत है। रेलवे के कमर्शियल विभाग को इस संबंध में नए दिशा-निर्देश मिल चुके हैं।

बिलासपुर। रायपुर मंडल की सीमा में शामिल दाधापारा से बैकुंठ रेलवे स्टेशन के बीच सितंबर में 7 दिन मेगा  ब्लाक होगा। रख-रखाव का काम अलग-अलग तारीख में अलग-अलग लाइन पर होगी, जिसके चलते गोंदिया-झारसुगड़ा-गोंदिया पैसेंजर इतने ही दिन बिलासपुर से रायपुर के बीच रद्द रहेगी।

रायपुर-गेवरारोड और बिलासपुर-रायपुर मेमू भी 8 सितंबर को कैंसिल रहेगी। यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए मेगाब्लाक के दिन अमृतसर-बिलासपुर छत्तीसगढ़ एक्सप्रेस को रायपुर से बिलासपुर के बीच पैसेंजर ट्रेन के तौर पर चलाया जाएगा।
बारिश के चलते रेलवे का लदान प्रभावित है।

औसतन 70 रैक की लोडिंग वाले डिवीजन में कोयले की 50 से 60 रैक ही लोड हो रही हैं। यातायात का दबाव वर्तमान में कम है, लिहाजा रेल प्रशासन पटरी से लेकर परिचालन वाले उपकरणों में सुधार करने जा रहा है। सुधार का काम दाधापारा से बैकुंठ रेलवे स्टेशन के बीच होगा।

इस सेक्शन में रेल लाइन का तिहरीकरण हो चुका है, लिहाजा अलग-अलग तारीख में अलग-अलग पटरियों पर सुधार कार्य होगा। ऐसा नहीं है कि इससे केवल एक ही पटरी पर यातायात प्रभावित होगा। क्रासिंग पाइंट से लेकर सिग्नलिंग सिस्टम में सुधार के चलते पूरे सेक्शन में यातायात ठप होगा।

नतीजा यह कि झारसुगड़ा-गोंदिया-झारसुगड़ा पैसेंजर को बिलासपुर से रायपुर के बीच 1, 3, 8, 15, 22, 24 और 29 सितंबर को रद्द किया जाएगा। रायपुर-गेवरारोड मेमू और बिलासपुर-रायपुर मेमू को सिर्फ 8 सितंबर को रद्द किया गया है।

सात दिन रद्द रहेगी जेडी पैसेंजर, यात्रियों के लिए उठाया जाएगा नया कदम

गोंदिया से झारसुगड़ा (58118) जाने वाली पैसेंजर को रायपुर में रद्द कर दिया जाएगा। यह ट्रेन रायपुर में सुबह 9:20 बजे आकर ठहर जाएगी। इसी ट्रेन को रायपुर से दोपहर 3:50 बजे झारसुगड़ा-गोंदिया बनाकर रवाना किया जाएगा। इसी तरह झारसुगड़ा-गोंदिया (58117) पैसेंजर बिलासपुर में ठहर जाएगी, जो कि दोपहर 1:45 बजे बिलासपुर से ही गोंदिया-झारसुगड़ा बनकर छूटेगी।

क्या है विकल्प: झारसुगड़ा-गोंदिया-झारसुगड़ा पैसेंजर के रायपुर-बिलासपुर के बीच रद्द रहने से इस ट्रेन के यात्रियों के लिए छत्तीसगढ़ एक्सप्रेस विकल्प साबित होगा। अमृतसर से बिलासपुर आने वाली छत्तीसगढ़ एक्सप्रेस गोंदिया-झारसुगड़ा के यात्रियों को बिलासपुर तक लाएगी।

इसी वजह से मेगा ब्लाक के दिन अमृतसर-बिलासपुर छत्तीसगढ़ एक्सप्रेस रायपुर से बिलासपुर तक पैसेंजर बनकर चलेगी। झारसुगड़ा से गोंदिया जाने वालों को बिलासपुर-अमृतसर छत्तीसगढ़ एक्सप्रेस की सुविधा मिलेगी। यह ट्रेन पैसेंजर तो नहीं होगी, लेकिन गोंदिया जाने वालों को रायपुर तक पहुंचाएगी, जहां उन्हें उनकी पैसेंजर ट्रेन मिल जाएगी।

कानपुर। शहरियों के लिए खुशखबरी। रेल बजट में घोषित दिल्ली-भुवनेश्वर सुपरफास्ट नई ट्रेन 7 सितंबर से चलने लगेगी। इस नई साप्ताहिक ट्रेन का कानपुर सेंट्रल पर दस मिनट का स्टापेज होगा। श्रमशक्ति एक्सप्रेस की तरह यह ट्रेन कानपुर से दिल्ली के बीच नान स्टाप दौड़ेगी।

पीआरओ अमित मालवीय ने बताया कि इस ट्रेेन में एक एसी फर्स्ट, एक एसी सेकेंड, चार एसी थ्री और आठ स्लीपर कोच होंगे। 22805 अप सुपरफास्ट एक्सप्रेस भुवनेश्वर से हर शनिवार दोपहर 12:45 बजे चलकर कानपुर सेंट्रल पर रविवार दोपहर 13:45 बजे आएगी और दस मिनट बाद दिल्ली को रवाना होगी। यह ट्रेन रात 8:50 बजे दिल्ली पहुंचेगी। इसी तरह 22806 सुपरफास्ट एक्सप्रेस दिल्ली से हर सोमवार सुबह सात बजे चलकर उसी दिन दोपहर को कानपुर सेंट्रल पर 13:15 बजे आएगी। दस मिनट बाद यह ट्रेन रवाना होकर मंगलवार को शाम 4:30 बजे भुवनेश्वर पहुंचेगी। उन्होंने बताया कि ये ट्रेनें भुवनेश्वर से सात सितंबर को और दिल्ली से नौ सितंबर को रवाना होंगी।

वाराणसी : दिल्ली से शुक्रवार की देर रात कैंट स्टेशन पहुंची विजिलेंस विभाग की टीम ने विभिन्न विभागों की जांच की।

यह टीम देर रात लगभग सवा एक बजे स्टेशन पहुंची। टीम में शामिल अधिकारियों ने सबसे पहले साधारण टिकट बुकिंग घर में छापा मारा। वहां टिकटों की बिक्री, अर्जित धनराशि की जांच की। काउंटर के बाहर जनरल टिकट खरीदने के लिए लाइन में खड़े यात्रियों से भी पूछताछ की।

सूत्रों ने बताया कि विजिलेंस विभाग के अधिकारियों को ऐसी शिकायतें मिली थीं कि यात्रियों से टिकट के अधिक किराए वसूले जा रहे हैं। टीम ने प्लेटफार्म नम्बर एक पर स्थित पार्सल व विश्रामालय सहित अन्य विभागों की भी जांच की। इस कार्रवाई से रेल अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों में हड़कंप की स्थिति रही। जांच की कार्रवाई देर रात तक चलती रही।

Along with the unceremonious exit of the Union Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal, following charges of corruption, his gift to the region in the form of a railway link between Talwandi Sabo and Rama Mandi seems to have been put on the back-burner for at least some time now.Bansal had, in his maiden Union Railway Budget in February this year, announced to link Rama Mandi with Maur Mandi via Talwandi Sabo. The project, however, seems to have lost steam with the exit of the minister.Speaking to Bathinda Tribune, the Congress MLA from Talwandi Sabo, Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu, said, “I recently met the former railway minister and discussed the plan with him. He explained to me about various budgetary allocations and that the proposal would take some time to take a concrete form.”Agreeing that had Bansal been there, “the project would have moved faster”, he added, “The project might have been delayed, but it’s not dead. I understand that the preliminary survey for the railway link has already been conducted.”Jeet Mohinder Sidhu said if need be, he would take up the matter with the present Union Railway Minister, Mallikarjun Kharge. “I would take along a few MPs from Punjab and request the Union Minister to expedite the work on the rail link.”The rail link is important as Takht Sri Damdama Sahib is the only Takht which is not connected by a rail link. “All the other Takhts - Sri Harmandar Sahib, Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Sri Hazur Sahib (Nanded) and Sri Patna Sahib have railway connectivity. A rail link to Talwandi Sabo is also crucial considering the upcoming thermal plant in the region,” the MLA added.Meanwhile, the residents of the region, who had pined high hopes on Pawan Kumar Bansal, the first Union Railway Minister from Punjab, are eagerly awaiting news regarding the rail link.Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, Giani Balwant Singh Nandgarh, said, “The Ministry of Railways cannot run away from the proposal made by a former railway minister while presenting the budget. If no work on the project starts any time soon, we may constitute a committee and take up the issue with the Central Government or the Ministry of Railways.”

Based on crowd sourcing, private portal RailYatri Saturday launched another portal, RailWisdom, to provide information on stations and travel tips to train passengers.In a statement, the company said it expects to invest over $1 million in the next two years and is already receiving a traction of around 12,000 visitors daily.The portal was launched at the at the Big Mobility Conference at Bangalore.The portal is providing information through a solution built on Google Maps and contextual and location specific travel tips and trivia on trains, stations and destinations.The product will soon be available on Android, iOs, Blackberry and Windows OS, the company statement said.
