Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on on June 3.

Matunga - Thane Down Slow Line from 11:20 AM to 04:20 PM

All Down slow line services leaving Matunga from 10.57 am to 4.20 pm will be diverted on Down fast line between Matunga and Mulund stations halting at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations and further re-diverted to Down slow line at Mulund station.
Down slow line services will not be available at Vidyavihar, Kanjurmarg and Nahur stations. Passengers of these stations are allowed to travel via Ghatkopar/Bhandup/Mulund stations during the block period.
All Up fast line services leaving Kalyan from 10.54 am to 3.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
All Down fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 10.48 am to 3.40 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
All slow line services arriving and leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Mumbai CSMT - Chunahatti/Bandra Up and Down Harbour lines from 11:10 AM to 04:40 PM

Down Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving from Vadala Road from 11.34 AM upto Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus departure from 4.47 pm and Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm will remain suspended.

Down Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri/Goregaon leaving CSMT from 9.56 am to 4.43 pm and Up Harbour line services for CSMT leaving Goregaon/Andheri/Bandra from 10.45 am to 4.58 pm will remain suspended.

However special local trains will run on Panvel- Kurla sections during the block period.

Harbour Line passengers are permitted to travel via Trans-Harbour / Main Line/ Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.

It is notified that train number 14601 / 14602 Firozpur - Sri Ganga Nagar - Firozpur Intercity Express train will  be short terminated  at  Abohar and will short originate  from Abohar  o­n  June 03 and 10.

Earlier this train was fully cancelled o­n June 3 and 10 due to Traffic Block for the construction of  Limited Height Subway o­n  Ambala Division.

जम्मू तवी-हावड़ा स्पेशल एक्सप्रेस 

• ट्रेन संख्या 04606 वन वे विशेष ट्रेन 2 जून को जम्मू तवी से चलेगी । 
• जम्मू तवी प्रस्थान का समय रात में 11:15 बजे है। 
• हावड़ा आगमन का समय तीसरे दिन सुबह 11:30 बजे है। 

ट्रेन संरचना - 

• 16 एसी तीन स्तरीय कोच। 

जम्मू तवी और हावड़ा के बीच ट्रेन का ठहराव - 

पठानकोट कैंट, जलंधर कैंट, लुधियाना, अंबाला कैंट, सहारनपुर, मोरादाबाद, बरेली, लखनऊ, सुल्तानपुर, वाराणसी, मुगलसराय, गया, धनबाद और आसनसोल स्टेशन।

Jammu Tawi-Howrah Special Express

• One Way special train with train number 04606 will run from Jammu Tawi on June 2.
• Jammu Tawi departure time is 11:15 PM in the night.
• Howrah arrival time is 11:30 AM third day morning.

• 16 AC three tier coaches.

VIKALP scheme has been extended to wait-listed passengers who booked tickets from counters, by Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).

Earlier, VIKALP scheme is an option that provided alternate train accommodation scheme (ATAS) for tickets booked through online. Now passengers booking tickets from counters can opt for confirmed accommodation in alternate trains. Railway wants to utilize available accommodation through this system.

However, it must be noted that VIKALP does not mean that confirmed berth will be provided to passengers in an alternate train.

South Central Railway will be providing temporary augmentation of following trains with additional coaches as per details -


Train number 06580 Vishakhapatnam - Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Express Special train will be augmented with one AC third and one Sleeper Class coach from June 3 to July 29.


Train number 06579 Yesvantpur - Vishakhapatnam Weekly Tatkal Express Special train will be augmented with one AC third class and one Sleeper Class coach from June 1 to July 27.

 रेलवे ने आज से अजमेर - नई दिल्ली शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस का विस्तार दौराई कर दिया है| 

नई दिल्ली से चलने वाली 12015 अजमेर - नई दिल्ली शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस पहले की तरह 12:45 पर अजमेर पहुंचेगी और दस मिनट के ठहराव के बाद दौराई के लिए रवाना होगी और दोपहर 1:10 पर दौराई पहुंचेगी|

वापसी में 12016 अजमेर - नई दिल्ली शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस दौराई से दोपहर 3:15 पर रवाना होगी और 3:30 पर अजमेर पहुंचेगी| 15 मिनट के स्टॉप के बाद 3:45 पर जयपुर के लिए रवाना होगी|

अजमेर से दिल्ली के बीच दोनों तरफ से ठहराव और समय में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं किया गया है|

रेलमंत्री पियूष गोयल ने लेटलतीफी दूर करने के लिए ट्रेनों की औसत रफ़्तार बढ़ने तथा दिल्ली - मुंबई और दिल्ली - हावड़ा रूटों को तीन महीने के भीतर 160 किलोमीटर की रफ़्तार वाली ट्रेनों के योग्य बनाने के अफसरों को निर्देश दिए हैं |
रेलमंत्री ने ये निर्देश पिछले तीन वर्षों से चलाये जा रहे मिशन रफ़्तार की सुस्त रफ़्तार को देखने के बाद दिए हैं | गोयल ने पाया कि तीन वर्ष बीत जाने के बाद भी मिशन रफ़्तार में मामूली प्रगति हुयी है | जबकि सरकार ने इसी मिशन के बूते ही प्रमुख रूटों पर ट्रेनों की औसत स्पीड बढ़ने और 160 किलोमीटर गति वाली सेमि हाई स्पीड ट्रेनें चलने का मंसूबा बंधा था | हालत ये है कि एक रूट भी इसके लिए पूर्णतया तैयार नहीं है |
दिल्ली से आगरा के बीच गतिमान एक्सप्रेस पिछ्ले ही 160 किलोमीटर की रफ़्तार पर चल रही है लेकिन आगरा के झाँसी तक इसे 130 किलोमीटर पर चलाया जा रहा है | मिशन रफ़्तार पर हुयी कॉन्फ्रेंस में अफसरों को अन्य मेल एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों की रफ़्तार में औसतन 25 किलोमटेर की बढ़ोतरी का लक्ष्य सौंपा है |

गाड़ी संख्या 12187 जबलपुर - छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज टर्मिनस गरीबरथ एक्सप्रेस दिनांक 4 जून को एक वातानुकूलित तृतीय श्रेणी का कोच लगाया जा रहा है |

Central Railway will dismantle Foot Over Bridge at Neral to remove offloaded track Portal between Badlapur and Karjat stations o­n June 3 -Sunday from 10.30 am to 02.20 pm. This will affect movement of trains as per details -

• 17222 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus- Kakinada Express to be diverted via Karjat - Panvel Section
• 16339 Mumbai-Tirunelveli Nagarcoil Express to be diverted via Karjat - Panvel section
• 17031 Mumbai-Hyderabad Express will be diverted via Karjat-Panvel Section
• 17032 Hyderabad-Mumbai Express will be diverted via Karjat-Panvel Section
•  11042 Chennai-Mumbai Express will be diverted via Karjat-Panvel Section
• 11014 Coimbtore- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus will be diverted via Karjat-Panvel Section
