Tickets for India International Trade Fair’s (IITF) business visitors will be available at 26 Metro stations in the Capital from November14, a Metro statement said on Sunday.The 14-day-long exhibition would have 6,000 exhibitors participating from India and abroad, showcasing a wide variety of products ranging from electronics, decorative, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and accessories.The fair will be open for business visitors from November 14-18 for which the tickets are priced at Rs400 each. For the general public, the fair will open on November 19 and ends on November 27. The tickets for general public would be available at all Metro stations from November 19.According to Metro officials, tickets from November 19 can be purchased from customer care centres at all Metro stations from 9 am to 4 pm. “The tickets are priced at Rs50 for adults and Rs30 for children on weekdays and Rs80 and Rs50, respectively, on weekends,” a Metro statement said. No advance tickets would be available.Additional ticket counters, customer facilitation agents and security guards would be installed at the Pragati Maidan Metro station as it will see the maximum footfall since it is near the fair venue. “During the last year’s fair, the average daily ridership to Pragati Maidan was about 1.2 lakh passengers per day,” the statement said. |
