HANSI: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said the state government would give 50 per cent of Rs 2,515 crore for the implementation of three railway line projects.During a rail road rally here, Hooda announced to provide the amount for the three railway line projects -- 104 km long Delhi-Sohna-Nuh-FerozpurJhirka-Alwar, Hisar-Agroha-Fatehabad-Sirsa (93 kms) and Yamunanagar-Sadhora-Naraingarh-Chandigarh (91 kms).Hooda was responding to the suggestion made by Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge, at the same venue, that Railway Ministry would take up the three important rail lines on priority basis provided the state government bears half of the expenditure.The rally was organised for the foundation stone laying ceremony of Hansi-Meham-Rohtak rail line and four laning of Hisar-Hansi-Meham-Rohtak section of National Highway 10.The Railway Minister appreciated the state government's initiative of contributing 50 per cent share in the railway projects of the state.Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Oscar Fernandes, who also addressed the rally, announced to sanction Railway over Bridge at Dabwali which would cost more than Rs 37 crore.Meanwhile, Hooda announced to give Rs 10 crore each to all seven assembly segments of Hisar for development works. He also announced the construction of a stadium at Hansi. | ||
