Vinod Kumar Yadav, who recently took over as GM of South central Railway told reporters that existing divisions were carved out considering operation of ease not because of geographical boundaries of states. We are constantly trying to improve our services by providing more passenger amenities and to meet as much demands of passengers as possible. The biggest problem which railway will face if Nanded is to be linked with Central Railways is accommodation of officials and staffers as e their seniority. Also serious operational difficulties will arise during this exchange. Omprakash Varma of Marathwada Raiway Vikas Samiti says that due to lack of political will is the main reason for not getting demands answered on time of Nanded division.
