Southern railways has started engineering works between Sulurpeta – Doravarichatram in Chennai – Gudur section due to which line and Power block is imposed on this section. The details are given below –

• On March 15, train number 16031 Chennai Central – Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra Andaman express will be regulated at Sulurpeta for 25 minutes and will reach Gudur late by 40 minutes.
• On March 15 train number 22643 Ernakulam – Patna express will be regulated at Sulurpeta for 20 minutes and will reach Gudur late by 20 minutes.
• On March 18 train number 66031 Sulurpeta – Nellore MEMU local and train number 66032 Nellore – Sulurpeta MEMU local will remain fully cancelled.

These trains will be delayed on March 18 –

• 12655 Ahmedabad – Chennai Central Navjeevan express
• 12841 Howrah – Chennai Central Coromandal express 
• 12712 Chennai Central – Vijayawada Pinakini express
• 12551 Yesvantpur – Kamakhya express
• 12578 Mysore – Darbhanga Bagmati express 
• 66036 Nellore – MMC MEMU
