Railway Police Force (RPF) filed an FIR against Samajwadi Party MLA, Gorakh Paswan, and 100 unidentified persons on Monday for allegedly trying to obstruct a train from travelling as they staged protest on the railway tracks near Bankara area of Balia district on Monday demanding railway crossing for the convenience of the locals. The Intercity Express between Varanasi and Gorakhpur was stopped for around 18 minutes. The situation came under control after RPF personnel used force to disperse the crowd. Paswan had won from Belthara constituency in Ballia recently. | ||
