GUWAHATI: Criticizing the delay in completion of railway projects in the northeast, CPI (M)'s youth wing, Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), on Sunday accused the Centre of not giving importance to improvement of railway connectivity in the region.The Tripura and Assam units of DYFI has decided to stage a demonstration before the Northeast Frontier Railway headquarters at Maligaon on August 7, demanding early completion of railway projects. DYFI Tripura unit president, Tapas Dutta, said broad gauge conversion of tracks in South Assam is an important railway projects, but it is still incomplete. | ||
