Railway Passengers’ Association and traders’ organisations have asked the Railways to start a new direct superfast train on Kolhapur-Mumbai route and extra trains on Kolhapur-Miraj route. In different statements to Central Railways Chief General Manager Subodh Jain on Thursday, they asked the trains, including long-distance ones, to be extended to Kolhapur from Pune. Mr. Jain said Rs. 1 crore was being disbursed for the development of the goods yard at the Kolhapur Railway Station. | ||
