Union Minister of Indian Railways has made an announcement regarding calling coolies as “Sahayaks”. During the budget speech of year 2016-17 an announcement was made regarding “Licensed Coolies” to be called as Sahayaks. The aim of calling them as Sahayaks is to improve their self-esteem by shedding the colonial term. | ||
