Chennai is 362 kms away from Bengaluru (SBC-MAS) and it provides very high traffic for Railway as at least 9 trains run daily to mobilize passengers. Short route won’t affect punctuality much however a slight delay should also be considered on such routes.

It always arrived on time while Shatabdi Express arrived on time only 2 times with average delay time of 7 minutes and 15 minutes for morning and evening respectively in its last 6 runs.

Interestingly long distance train Sanghmitra Express that runs between Patna and Bangalore never arrived on time even once in last 6 daays with average delay time of 106 minutes.

Apart from this train, average late running time of every other train hovers around 15 minutes. Chennai Double Decker also arrived on time on 5 occasions which is definitely acceptable.
