Chennai defeated Madurai 45-20 to win the 21st Inter Divisional RPF Kabaddi tournament at Red Field Grounds here on Friday.Chennai thereby completed its engagements remaining undefeated in all its matches. Madurai on the other hand suffered its second consecutive defeat to Chennai in two days. In the four league matches that were held on Thursday, Chennai had a narrow 34-27 win over Madurai and got a walkover from Trivandrum. Madurai on the other hand beat Tiruchi 37-29 while Tiruchi beat Trivandrum 48-27. The opening ceremony took place at 8 a.m. on Thursday and was inaugurated by V. Ajith Kumar, Additional Divisional Railway Manager. Closing ceremony was held at 5 p.m. on Friday and A.K. Goel, Divisional Railway Manager, who was chief guest, distributed prizes to the winners.
