Delhi Police has nabbed a notorious chain snatcher from the parking lot of Inderlok Metro Station in north west Delhi. Rohit alias Sunny (26), was arrested when he had come to the Inderlok Metro Station parking to sell off the stolen chains.Sunny is a resident of Radhey Puri Extension area in the capital and has been involved in snatching events in the past as well. “We had received information on August 1 that Sunny was coming to the parking lot on his motorcycle to sell of the stolen chains.“Acting on a tip off, a trap was laid at the spot by a police team and Sunny was nabbed by the police,” said a senior police officer.During interrogation Sunny revealed that he along with his other associates has been involved in snatching in the East Delhi area.“Sunny along with one of his associates has also been arrested by the East District police in the past and was released from jail on May 14 this year,” added the police official.The police also informed that after being released from the jail, they again started committing snatchings on the motorcycle.During interrogation the police also found that two cases of chain snatching have been registered against him at Pandav Nagar Police Station as well.
