After finalising a route, a proposal seeking the Centre’s funding would be submitted to the Union Aviation Ministry. A final route will only be decided when all stake holders will be consulted and agreed on it. The longest route discussed is from Yeshwantpur via Yehlanka, Kannur and Bagalur. Work of phase two will be completed by 2020 according to authorities after missing several deadlines.
