 For most of the passengers cancellation of train number 06579 / 06580 yasvantpur -Visakhapatnam - Yeshwantpur weekly tatkal special fare Express train came as a shock. South Western railway earlier announced that it will not run this weekly tatkal special train.

An estimated 40000 people from coastal Andhra works in IT companies and travels frequently between Yeshwantpur (Bangalore) and Visakhapatnam. Railway usually run this train during Pongal season. Following the cancellation of this train rail users took to Twitter to express their anger. According to rail authorities passengers must realise that Railway cannot Run trains with poor patronage apart from festival season.
