The government has requested funding under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) for the recently sanctioned Phase II of Barapulla Nallah Road by-pass, she informed the House. "This 8 kilometres long road will further decongest the Ring Road and provide an important link to INA Market. An amount of Rs 240 crore has been proposed for the funding," she said.
