The Science Express-Biodiversity Special (SEBS) exhibition train will visit the Kozhikode railway station from August 24 to 27 and Kannur station between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from August 28 to 31. It is an innovative exhibition mounted on a specially designed 16-coach A/C train, travelling over 96,000 km across India since October 2007.With over one crore visitors at its 315 halts and 11,470 exhibition days till date, Science Express is the largest, longest, and most visited mobile science exhibition in India, said a press release by Palakkad Railway Division here on Tuesday. The SEBS primarily aims to create awareness of biodiversity, climate change, and similar issues among various sections of the society, especially the students.Items such as mobile phones, cameras, bags, matchboxes, cigarettes, bidis, tobacco, any liquid, and sharp objects are not allowed on board the SEBS train.
