Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Bharat Darshan tourist train to Varanasi, Kolkatta, Puri and Konark will leave Madurai on August 27 and reach Podanur Junction on August 28 evening. It would go through Salem the next day.It would reach Hyderabad on August 30 where there would be a city tour on the same day and next day. It would reach Varanasi on September 2 and then it would reach Gaya on September 4, Shalimar and Belur trips would be on September 5, Puri on September 6 and would commence the return journey on September 8 to reach Salem, Erode, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Kollam on September 9 and Madurai on September 10 via Thiruvananthapuram and Nagercoil.The duration of the tour would be 15-days and the fare would be Rs 7,731 which includes sleeper class ticket, hall accommodation wherever night stay was involved, buses for local sight seeing and vegetarian food.
