Malda(WB), June 16 (PTI) Armed assailants injured two persons and looted money and valuables from the passengers of New Jalpaiguri-Sealdah Padatik Express near Malda Town station, police said today.

Around 20-25 armed assailants entered some of the bogies of the train late last night when the train on its way to Sealdah had stopped at the outer signal of Eklakhi Railway Station near Malda Town.

They started looting the passengers after entering the bogies.
