For the second time this week, commuters travelling by EMU trains had to suffer inconvenience as the train services were disrupted twice on Saturday evening.Four trains to and from Chennai Beach and Tambaram were affected due to signal problems at Guindy station around 2.30 p.m. Commuters were delayed by over half hour due to the technical snag.Later in the evening around 8 p.m., trains were stranded in the Chennai Beach and Tambaram section due to similar technical snag near Kodambakkam railway station.As the train services were disrupted were over two hours, some commuters alighted from trains stranded near the railway stations and boarded buses or hired autorickshaws.Many others had to wait until the train services were resumed.On Wednesday, similar problem was encountered by commuters travelling to and from Tiruvallur, Gummidipoondi and Arakkonam due to signal problem near Basin Bridge station.
