Railway has decided to extend further the run of special trains between Pune – Jabalpur Special train, to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as mentioned as under:- 

• Train number 01655 Special departing Pune at 10.45 hrs o­n every Tuesday and arriving Jabalpur at 06.15 hrs next day is now extended upto January 1, 2019. 
• Train number 01656 Special departing Jabalpur at 19.30 hrs o­n every Sunday and arriving Pune at 14.05 hrs next day is now extended upto December 30, 2018. 

Halts in both directions - 

• Daund, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur and Madan Mahal. 

Train Composition:  

• AC-2 Tier – 1 coach,  
• AC-3 Tier – 4 coaches,  
• Sleeper Class – 10 coaches, 
• General Second Class – 1 coach
