Increase in both passenger and freight earning has boosted revenues of the North-east Frontier (NF) Railway during 2011-12.The gross apportioned earnings of the Guwahati-headquartered NF Railway on originating basis in 2011-12 stood at Rs 2,808.28 crore as against Rs 2,616.06 crore in the previous financial year, a growth of 7.34 per cent.The total goods earnings went up by 9.83 per cent to Rs 1,435.10 crore in 2011-12 from Rs 1,307.09 crore in 2010-11. | ||
