FEROZEPUR : One hundred and thirty persons were caught travelling without tickets, during a special drive underway on trains of the routes of Ferozepur-Fazilka, Fazilka-Muktsar, Jalandhar-Ferozepur and at Bathinda rail junction. The drive has specially been launched on the instructions of Vishesh Chowbey, Divisional Railways Manager, Ferozepur Division by the teams of M.M.Singh, Senior DCM and P.C.Doodi, DCM, to check the rising incidents of people travelling without tickets in different trains. During the checking, 130 passengers travelling without ticket or carrying the luggage beyond the prescribed limit of weight, were caught and about Rs.29000 was recovered as fine money. During this operation, besides Updesh Sandhu, Malkit Singh, Sanjiv, Rajiv, Ranbir, Vikram, a good number of ticket checking staff was involved. | ||
