Ramanathapuram MP, J.K. Ritheesh, inaugurated the India Post Passenger Reservation System (PRS) centre at Tiruvadanai Post Office in Ramanathapuram district on Monday.

A statement said that the post office would service the local people to reserve their train tickets through the computerised passenger reservation system. This is one of the efforts of the Indian Railways to make ticket bookings more accessible to the public and reduce queues outside the reservation counters at railway stations, besides IRCTC’s online / mobile booking.
