A bomb alert from one untraceable person named Sk. Ibrahim turned out to be false after a bomb squad made intense searches at the Gudur railway station in Nellore district on Wednesday.A postal letter, sent in the name of Ibrahim from Nellore, reached railway station master R.G.S.S. Kumar this morning. It said that one Sk. Athahar, president of Kranthi Yuvajana Sangham, Barkas, Nellore, took money to help a Pakistani terrorist organisation to blast the railway station soon. The police took Athahar to Gudur and questioned him when he pleaded innocence. The address of informant, Ibrahim, is not available and he is stated to be fictitious. Somebody, bearing a grudge against Athahar, might have written the letter to implicate him in the case, the police officials said.Investigation is going on whether old enmity might have been the cause behind the conspiracy against Athahar. The incident caught the officials by surprise and they had to conduct elaborate searches at the railway station throughout the day.A letter sent to the station master mentioned that Sk. Athahar took money from a Pakistani terrorist to blast the station | ||
