The following trains will have a temporary stoppage of one minute at Poonkunnam station on Sunday and Monday in connection with the Thrissur pooram festival.
Stoppage for both directions on Monday:  Train nos 16307/16308 Ernakulam- Kannur- Ernakulam Express; 16305/16306 Kannur- Ernakulam- Kannur Intercity Express; 16301/16302 Thiruvananthapuram-Shoranur- Thiruvananthapuram Venad Express; 16649/16650 Nagercoil-Mangalore-Nagercoil Parasuram Express; 16341/16342 Thiruvananthapuram-Guruvayur-Thiruvananthapuram Intercity Express.

Stoppage on Sunday and Monday: Train No 16629 Thiruvananthapuram-Mangalore Malabar Express; 16343 Thiruvananthapuram- Palakkad Amritha Express; 16348 Mangalore- Thiruvananthapuram Express;16344 Palakkad- Thiruvananthapuram Amritha Express; 16630 Mangalore- Thiruvananthapuram Express.

Train no 56602 Kannur- Shoranur passenger will be extended to Thrissur on Sunday.
