ALLAHABAD: The return of fog has again affected train movement on New Delhi-Howrah route. Several trains were running late on Thursday, causing problems for passengers many of whom were stranded at the stations.Mahananda Express in the up direction whose normal arrival time at Allahabad junction is 6:30am was running late by 15 hours. The same train running in the down direction was running late by 23 hours.Train number 12987 Ajmer Sealdah Express whose normal arrival time at the Allahabad junction is 12:35pm was running late by eight hours.Train number 22406 Bhagalpur-Anand Vihar Gharib Rath Express was running late by 15 hours while train number 181110 Murie Express whose normal arrival time is 3:30 pm was running more than three hours behind schedule. Train number 12428 Anand Vihar-Rewa Express arrived at Allahabad junction at 3:40pm, more than eight hours behind schedule while train number 12802 New Delhi-Puri Puroshattam Express arrived at 3:40pm at Allahabad junction, more than eights hours behind schedule.Durg Express whose arrival time at Allahabad junction is 10:40am was running late by four hours.
