Imphal : An official team of North East Frontier Railways today met Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh and discussed the work progress of Tupul-Jiribam Railway project.The meeting which was held at the office of the Chief Minister minutely reviewed the progress of Tupul-Jiribam Railway Project apart from discussing issues related to extension of the railway line from Tupul to Imphal.The construction of the railway line from Jiribam to Tupul is being targeted to be completed by 2015 .The meeting also deliberated over the need to speed up the ongoing work progress.The railway officials on their part conveyed the Chief Minister about the problems being encountered in drilling through hills for construction of tunnels.
