Patna: All the trains and flights from here to Delhi Saturday were full of thousands of JD-U workers and leaders going to the national capital for the party's 'Adhikar rally' seeking special economic status for Bihar. The Janata Dal-(United) led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is holding the rally at Delhi's Ramlila ground Sunday to put pressure on the central government for granting a special category status to Bihar or "Bihar ka Haq" (Bihar's right). Nitish Kumar has left for Delhi Saturday along with party leaders for the Adhikar rally (rally for rights). "The main attraction of the rally will be Nitish Kumar and his speech for Bihar's development via special category status (demand)," party MP R.C. Singh told IANS. "There is no place in almost all the Delhi bound trains. They are full of capacity with JD-U leaders and workers," a railway official said. The situation was more or less similar for Delhi-bound flights "All flights from Patna since Saturday morning till night are full of JD-U leaders, who had reserved the seats over a month ago," an official at Patna airport said. | ||
