The city railway station on Sunday seemed to have returned to normalcy after being thronged by thousands of departing Northeasterners for the past few days.Only 471 people left the city on Sunday according to railway officials and they all left from the Yesvantpur Station. The railways did not operate any special trains. At Yesvantpur Station, the regular Yesvantpur-Howrah express was the only train to depart towards NE. Though the general compartments were filled, there was no sense of urgency amongst the passengers. | ||
