Train accident in Gujarat was averted when a security personnel discovered 40 clips missing from railway track on Monday between Unjha and Kamli stations. Western Railway chief spokesman Ravinder Bhakar said, a Railway Police Fore constable found pandrol clips missing when he was on a routine inspection. At least 40 clips were displaced from the track which could definitely be work of miscreants only. Railway halted Bikaner – Secunderabad Express set to cross the track as a precaution. After sometime train was sent ahead. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhi again appealed to Railway Officials to stay alert after this incident. Prabhu tweeted, "Please be very vigilant, thwart these attempts of anti-social elements, playing with innocent and precious lives." |
