The railway police on Wednesday rescued four children at the Secunderabad railway station and sent them to rehabilitation centres. According to the superintendent of police M Kantha Rao, Pratap (10), Vijay (8), Srinivas (5) and their mother, were found wandering on the platform. The mother Sampurna had run away from her house along with her three children after a tiff with her husband. They are natives of Kurnool.In another incident, railway police rescued 13-year-old Lakshmi, resident of Baboolga Hedori, Nanded in Maharashtra.She had come to the city with her parents but was separated from them at the railway station.The railway police found her loitering on platform number 10. Laksmhi was taken to a rehabilitation centre, according to the railway police. |
