LUCKNOW: The officials of Lucknow division of Northern Railway conducted a massive drive against ticketless travellers in all the trains passing through the division. Jagdip Rai, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Lucknow and Ashwini Srivastava, Sr Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM), Lucknow were present in the drive. During the checking, 190 ticketless travellers were caught in 13 trains. Railways recovered Rs 78,000 as fine from the defaulters. The drive was also conducted in Varanasi division. As many as 175 ticketless passengers were caught by railway officials in Varanasi and a fine of Rs 71,145 recovered from them. | ||
