12261 Mumbai-Howrah Duronto Express while passing through Mahalimarup station in Chakradharpur-Tata section on Chakradharpur Division this afternoon at about 15.25 hrs., the on duty Station Manager of Mahalimarup station(S.K.Goswami) noticed that there was brake binding in one AC 3-tier coach of Duronto Express, third from the rear. Immediately Station Manager informed the next station at Sini to stop the train. After arrival at Sini at 15.30 hrs. the train was thoroughly checked up and it was found that there was a mechanical trouble due to brake binding and hot axle of one of the AC 3-tier coaches of the train. Immediately, the affected coach was detached from the train and the passengers were accommodated in other coaches of Duronto Express. This apart, passengers were also accommodated in 12022 Barbil-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express which was given a special stoppage at Sini due to the request of the passengers. Finally, 12261 Duronto Express left Sini at 5.55 p.m. for Howrah.
