Munger : The Government Railway Police (GRP) today rescued 11 child labourers and arrested three alleged traffickers from a train at Jamalpur railway station in Bihar's Munger district. Acting on a tip off, the GRP team carried out a search in Bhagalpur-Surat Express and rescued the boys -- all aged below 15 years and natives of Bhagalpur district -- from a coach, GRP Inspector B Chattopadhyaya said. The accused child traffickers have been identified as Md Saddam Hussain, Md Monazir and Md Siraj, he said, adding that they were taking the child labourers to Surat. The rescued children have been handed over to the district authorities. | ||
