Announcing a number of train services, Southern Railway has planned to introduce new trains from Chennai to Bikaner, Santragachi, Palani and Thanjavur which are likely to be launched later this year.The railways however had not yet confirmed the date of launch. The railways have also decided to launch new air-conditioned express trains, connecting Chennai Central with Bikaner and Santragachi and have also announced a new timetable schedule which came into effect from July 1.While announcing two new express trains connecting the State capital with two important towns in South Tamil Nadu, the Southern Railways said that Train No.16003/16004 Chennai Central – Nagarsol (for Sai Nagar Shirdi) Express weekly train will make a departure from Chennai Central and will stop at Arakkonam, Tiruttani, Puttur, Renigunta, Razampeta, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Tadipatri, Gooty, Dhone, Kurnool Town, Gadwal, Mahbubnagar, Kacheguda, Malkajgiri, Kamareddi, Basar, Mudkhed, Hazoor Saheb Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna and Aurangabad. | ||
