ALLAHABAD: For providing safe journey to passengers and better management of trains, automatic signalling is presently being installed between Allahabad and Mughalsarai section coming under the jurisdiction of Allahabad division of North Central Railway. The work of installation of automatic signaling has been completed recently in the Bhirpur-Meja section of the Allahabad-Mughalsarai on March 7. The work of installation of automatic signaling is being done by IRPMU ( Indian Railways Project Management Unit)It is pertinent to mention that about 16 automatic signals have been installed on both the up and down lines between Bhirpur and Meja section which is about 11 kms in length. For ensuring better safety of the passengers, gate number 26 situated between the Bhirpur and Meja section have also been interlocked. With the installation of automatic signaling, now more trains will be made operational in this route than earlier.The work of installation of automatic signaling in the Bhirpur-Meja section has been completed under the supervision of chief signal and telecommunications engineer of IRPMU AK Jain and deputy chief signal and telecommunications engineer of IRPMU Neeraj Yadav. In addition to this, chief signaling and telecommunications engineer of NCR Tarun Prakash and officers and employees of the signaling, operating, engineering and other departments played major role. | ||
